I have tried the electric go-kart when it was staged in Hong Kong and it was fun and safe. So when I read about something similar, the itch will start. When I recently visited Bangkok, I heard about this track and since I rented a car, it was very easy to get to the venue, about 30 min from down town (subject to traffic). The venue is easy to find and is just next to the highway. They open at 4 pm on weekdays and 12 noon at weekends. The place is clean and well managed. The karts are well maintained and as it runs on electricity, there is no unpleasant oily smell. When you first visit the park, you will need to pay 100 Baht to become a member. The cost for a 8 min run is presently 600 Baht, a real bargain omparing to what I paid in Hong Kong. The speed of the karts are reasonably fast and will satisfy most for their thrist for thrill. If you have the time to spare beside food, shopping and spa, this is a place that you can consider when you next visit Bangkok.

My friends and I recently played at Riverdale golf course and were reasonably impressed. It is part of the MBK Golf group which also owns Red Mountain and Loch Palm in Phuket. While I think Red Mountain is better I would still recommend this course. The caddies were very good and layout and facilities are what you would expect from MBK.

We visited on a weekend of July.
Weather was manageable. We started at 07:30 am and thought that we are going to a wrong place as there was very les people accompanying sin the boat, but once we reached the opposite side we understood that we are in a correct place but too early as the weekend market was still not fully ready for sale and they will still setting up.
We took bicycles and planned to have a full round of the island.
It was great fun to ride a bicycle there.
Max 2 hours as it is just 5.2Km but there are many places to stop and click pics.
Many Wats, many farms.
Once we finished it was nearly 10:00 am
Market was fully functional and this is one of the best place to buy local thai stuff and food at cheapest possible prices.
My family had great fun in this trip.
While going back we found hundred of people waiting to cross the river to reach the island.
Take care Points:
- Early is better, as it gets really crowded after 10 and difficult to ride the cycle.
- little skill is required to ride the bicycle as some streets are narrow.
- Must shop some souvenirs, specially resin show pieces, sand flowing paintings.
- Lot of food stuff to eat and bakery .
- Must not miss Thai tea in earthen pot, which can be aight also
- Must buy pottery items
- Many OTOP items to shop .

Must visit place, if you love nature , village.
This place is lungs of Bangkok.

Excellent experience, helpful guide. We enjoyed this as part of a tour of other local sites. Great to see how the locals live day to day and sell their produce. The boats are an experience on their own and the shopping was good. Would have liked more time.

I've been here twice now in 11 months. It's still unfinished. A lot of empty space at side entrance. What is being utilized is pretty massive. I found great deals on what I was looking for. Clean mall I would say . Large bathrooms. Security presence throughout. Many places to eat & drink. Several banks. And yes a tattoo piercing shop the size of a walk in closet in the middle of a clothing store. So bizarre. Only in Asia I have an appointment to return & get a tattoo. I'll let you know how that goes

Impact Muang Thong Thani

I just went there for a huge food and beverage event, and I've been to Impact before for different expos and events (we saw ice skating there once). The events and facilities have been fine, (crowded, but that's normal), it's just such a long way out there.
If we drive there that takes forever to brave traffic, and parking there is rough. I just went out by BTS and then van shuttle from Mo Chit and that took forever. For whatever reason they dropped the fee for that (it had been something like 40 baht, not much) but there was around a 20 minute wait to get a van on both ends. If you can attend a similar event in Queen Sirikit instead that's in town, and even the one in Bangna (Bitec) is at least not that far away.

Totally of the track even though you are so very close to Bangkok. This temple complex is magnificent and extremely quiet during daytime on working days (but assume more more Thai's in weekends and not least on religious days. I liked the tranquility but on a workday but if you want to see thousands of worshipers, go on a religious day. One of the most beautiful temples near Bangkok - and so far kept to the locals - probably deliberately. So please treat this place and the people there with respect

Visited on a Saturday afternoon. Packed with locals (good sign) and very friendly. Right on the river so cool breezes and views. Beer choice of about 7 freshly brewed to cater for all tastes. Light, wheat, dark, stout, IPA and a few more. Tried 4 and enjoyed all. Owner Chit introduced himself and chatted. Bar snacks and small eats very tasty.
Would love to come back.

I've tried 3 massage centres in my 4 days trip, and this is the best place I've experienced. No stranger to Thai massage, and I must say this is the best for me after at least 10 years enjoying Thai massage.
