Orange is a city located in Orange County, California. It is approximately 3 miles (4.8 kilometers) north of the county seat, Santa Ana. Orange is unusual in this region because many of the homes in its Old Town District were built prior to 1920. While many other cities in the region demolished such houses in the 1960s, Orange decided to preserve them. The small city of Villa Park is surrounded by the city of Orange. The population was 139,812 as of 2014.

Unique cathedral composed of 10,000 panes of glass forming a four-pointed star.
This landmark has three distinct buildings each by a well known designer. The ownership changed only recently to the Catholic Church. The newest structure was designed by Richard Meier whose design are all over the world. The original 'crystal cathedral' was designed by Phillip Johnson many years back. It is quite spectacular. This leads to the original church building that was designed by Richard Neutra which also includes a bell tower. Each building has its unique quality that represented that particular period. Enjoy.

Experience the thrill of the an old wooden rollercoaster, but with modern twists, turns and technology, at "California Screamin." Or enjoy a live performance by your favorite characters at Disney's newest theme park, featuring a slew of exciting rides and family entertainment.
Disney knows how to run a park. We had a great morning here and then went to Disneyland. We wish we had more time. For some advice, read my review of Disneyland. Enjoy!!!

Very big and cool park. It has a small gauge rairoad you can ride. A lake with water trike rentals, bike and surrey rentals. There are several play grounds, pony rides, a small zoo, horse shoe pits lots of walking trails. The only bummer at the park is alot of the nature trails on tge west and north end were recently burned out and those areas are restricted now. There are huge California Oaks and Sycamores everywhere. The park is 120 years old and has a nature center

Welcome to the place where imagination is the destination. For young and old, big and small — it's the happiest place on earth! Come build memories with your family that last a lifetime as you discover the wonder of this magical, fantastical world. When you enter the lands that comprise Disneyland Park, stories come to life around you, immersing you in tales from some of your favorite Disney films.
Expectations were high for the entire family and Disneyland did not disappoint.
We’d been to Disneyworld in FL but never Disneyland. We really liked the smaller size of Disneyland. The weather was perfect during the day but got chilly at night. Not sure what we were thinking but we didn’t bring enough layers so most of us were pretty cold by the end of the day.

Exhibits specialize in the art of the world's indigenous peoples.
We've been to the Bower's numerous times since we frequently return for special exhibits. They currently have a wonderful exhibit of treasures from the Summer Palace, revolving around Cixi (pronounced she she), a fascinating ruler of the Qing Dynasty who reigned roughly during the same period as Queen Victoria. The items are varied and many are quite remarkable. We had lunch there at Tangata, which will validate your parking, saving you $6. The food and service are always excellent. I read a scholarly book on Cixi before our visit, which made it even more interesting but you might also just do a quick online search to learn more about her and the period. Allow time for the other exhibits and permanent collection if you're able.

We visited here on a week day was not too busy. There is a goat petting zoo. Our three-year-old granddaughter went inside the petting zoo and had a very good time until two goats started butting heads. And it was scary to the children. I don't understand why it was OK for kids to be in there at that time of day.
There are two bears a lot of reptiles a couple of deer and a few Eagles and some rabbits.
I don't remember what other animals that were there. It was an interesting little zoo.

It’s amazing how they’ve brought the world of Cars to life and make you feel as it you’re really in a southwestern landscape complete with ancient car fin-shaped flatirons! (But if you look really closely, you can see that a group of pigeons like to hang out on one of those formations. LOL.) This was easily our group’s favorite ride of the California Adventure park, and even my 75+ mother was up for going twice! It’s kind of like a cross between one of the storybook rides of Disneyland, and the Indiana Jones Adventure, although this doesn’t jerk you around as much as that ride does. You start off with a slow ride through some scenes from the movie, but you ride in a large stylized and independent vehicle (not like a regular roller coaster car) which holds up to six people, and you end with a race through that Cars scenery. It’s fun and is over way too quick. When we got to this ride, there was a 90-minute wait in the regular line, but the attendant said if our group of three used the single riders line and rode separately to help fill in the car capacity, we could get on much quicker. We did that and were through the line and riding within 15 minutes. We did the same thing later when there was a two-hour wait in the regular line and were riding within 30 minutes.

The Outlets at Orange, Orange County’s only outlet shopping destination, is home to more than 120 outlet and value retail stores including Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH, Last Call by Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom Rack, Off Broadway Shoes, DKNY, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger and more. The Outlets at Orange also offers fun and entertainment for the entire family with over 25 incredible eateries plus a Vans Skate Park, Dave & Buster's, Lucky Strike Bowling and a huge AMC 30 Theatre with IMAX.
A small outlet that one can finish in just about 5 hrs or so. Most outlets offer additional discount coupons but here, they sell it for USD5 for a pack of coupons at selective brands.
This is a convenient outlet mall for those visiting Anaheim, just a short 5min Uber ride away from Sheraton Park (which is near Disneyland and Anaheim convention center). The ART bus route 16 also brings one here in about 20mins.

Imaginations twist and fly through more than 100 hands-on exhibits at Discovery Cube OC (previously Discovery Science Center). Take the Eco Challenge and become a green superhero, feel the power of a real rocket engine "launch" and explore the inner workings of a two-story tall dinosaur! Traveling exhibits and annual events such as Spooky Science and Science of Gingerbread throughout the year ensure that there is always something new to discover.
We visited the Discovery Cube to see the Boeing exhibit on "Above and Beyond" celebrating the 100th anniversary of Boeing. We found the Discovery Cube's other exhibits were also very good. It appeals to youth and also has something for adults, but mostly for the youth. They do a good job of making things interesting with lots of great visual effects and the exhibits are very hands on. Parking on weekends can be a little tight with their main parking lot, but there is an overflow lot across the street.

This parade is so good, fun, and upbeat. Thankfully a cast member told us to get a seat a couple hours early so my friend and I took turns saving a spot and it was definitely worth it. The music is great, Owl City, and the characters were all so fun!
I saw this parade in July of 2015, the review is coming a little late....but for when the parade comes back, be sure to check it out. It is really well done already and they will be adding some new things to it.
