We live 45 minutes southeast of the Iowa Great Lakes and started going to Okoboji Summer Theatre productions when moved here 12 years ago. I figured they'd be good, but in actuality they are excellent. Great, really. Rarely does a summer go by that we don't get to one or more productions. If you like live theatre, this is a must experience for you!

Our 10 year old grandson loves cars so he loved this museum. The classic and antique cars are in pristine condition displayed in murals of local history ( Spencer, Arnold's Park Amusement Park and Lake Okoboji) many of the cars are for sale and a complete body shop is located at the museum.

Margaritas Bar located within Ranch Okoboji clubhouse is a full-service bar with a tropical atmosphere. Our Margaritas are all handmade using the secret family recipes. Customers say we have the best margaritas North of Mexico. Our very own Pork'NBloody Mary is the best in Iowa because bacon makes everything better. The Dickinson County Nature Center is open year-round and is a mecca for environmental learning and fun. There is always something to see and do, whether it be visiting one of our live animal ambassadors or having fun with an interactive exhibit. Kenue Park also features geocaching, mowed trails, rehabilitated trumpeter swans, disc golf, a Nature Playscape and the seasonal Westport Schoolhouse.
This is a hidden gem. It’s a wonderful place for a family to pass time. The Nature Center building has excellent exhibits about the animals, plants and landscape of the area. It is remarkably good!
