***We are open again and have implemented new safety and spacing standards in response to Covid-19. All tastings require advance reservations and availability is deliberately limited to minimize guest's exposure to other groups. *** The extraordinary property is set among some of the world’s most celebrated wineries on the Oakville Cross Road. The estate includes a state-of-the-art wine production facility, vineyards, caves for barrel storage, and a Hospitality House featuring an interactive, open-hearth kitchen wrapped in comfortable seating. B Cellars is beholden to its multi-vineyard, multi-varietal winemaking strategy. Exceptional blends and single vineyard wines are crafted from the most desirable Napa Valley vineyards. Tours and tastings are highly personalized and focused education and exploration. Small, seasonal B-Bites help showcase the wines unique flavors and characteristics.
I booked a wine tasting for my girlfriend and me back in the summer 2019. We both felt very welcome despite being rather young (22 & 24) and not knowing much about wine. Nick was our host and guide and he made this day an unforgettable experience. Since we both didn't know that much about wine, he explained everything very well and was really nice & friendly. He was very funny too! And of course the wine offered was great and matched perfectly to the delicious appetizers. It was an amazing experience! Since then I had a few tastings but none of them were as good as this one. Looking forward to traveling to the US & Napa Valley again and enjoying another great tasting, hopefully with Nick!

We pride ourselves on making one varietal that is food-friendly and deliciously drinkable upon release. Our story begins in the early 1970's when Ray Duncan befriended winegrower Justin Meyer. The two formed a partnership and co-founded Silver Oak Cellars in 1972 with the bold vision of producing only Cabernet Sauvignon. Come experience the Silver Oak Cellars Napa Valley winery in Oakville, CA to enjoy exceptional Cabernet Sauvignon wine tasting tours.
Arrived at Silver Oak after visiting 3 other wineries. Silver Oak surpassed our expectations. Natalie was THE BEST guide and you could tell she had been with Silver Oak for 15 years. Beautiful property and awesome tour! Many of the tours give you a set amount to “sample” we had very generous pours and if we wanted more...Silver Oak delivered! Would highly recommended! !

Miner Family Vineyards is a dynamic family owned winery tucked into the eastern hills of the Oakville appellation, squarely within the heart of Napa Valley. Founded in 1998 by Dave & Emily Miner along with his folks Ed & Norma, Miner is defined first and foremost by a sensational portfolio of wines, wines consistently characterized by and committed to individualistic style and uncommon quality. In only a few short years, Miner has identified, sought and secured a number of California's finest vineyard sites to produce and showcase a wide array of varietals. Each wine is crafted in a style to encapsulate the distinctive elements and the indelible fingerprints of their respective vineyards. This combination of excellent vineyard sites along with passionate and thoughtful winemaking injects the necessary components for creating profoundly joyful wines.
We always enjoy stopping at Miner for a tasting. Their wines are reasonably priced and delicious. We buy a case of Rosato every year. So excited to see that the tasting room has been completely remodeled. What a great look and wonderful space for tasting. The hospitality here is very nice and they will take good care of you. We highly recommend this tasting stop on the Silverado trail!

My wife and I decided to celebrate our 45th anniversary with a trip to the Napa Valley. The last winery we visited was by far our very best visit ever, even after many years of travels to the Napa area. We had setup our individual wine tasting as a filler for our last day of the stay, not realizing what a great decision it was to go to Far Niente. Cynthia our greeter and Reed Gomes our host were both exceptional. These are two people who fully understand what hospitality means and they do it very well indeed. We not only felt very welcome but we felt as though we were visiting with close friends. We both greatly appreciated our experience provided by Reed and Cynthia, the virtual tour of the beautiful grounds, the personalized wine tasting and their attention to the fine details that matter made this a visit that we will cherish, and we will certainly return as a result.

Family owned and operated since 1975, Paradigm creates beautiful estate wines from the world renowned Oakville AVA. Heidi Barret has been the winemaker at Paradigm since the first bottling.
Paradigm only hosts 3 groups per day with COVID. So when you visit you will have the place to yourself and complete attention. We met our host Maryann and she provided a tour of the grounds as well as informing us of the history of the brand and the wine making. They are very passionate about creating quality wine at Paradigm. I would definitely recommend visiting but you definitely need a reservation.

We are wine lovers and collectors who set out to procure some of the very best parcels of land in this esteemed valley to call our own. Throughout our 40 years of being rooted in the culture and history of the Napa Valley, our business has always stood for producing exceptional, quality wines and offering an authentic Napa Valley wine tasting experience. Guided by the long view principle of sustainability, everything we do is estate-grown, meaning we have a hand in every step of the grape growing and winemaking process. We farm with intention to craft outstanding wines – without exception. We believe in the opportunity to pause, explore, and discover something new every day, and for us, wine should be no exception. Turnbull. Stay true.
The grounds at Turnbull are beautiful and they did an amazing job keeping us safe during the COVID period. Kurt was our host and he was absolutely incredible - full of knowledge, history and passion. Known for their reds, they are unique and well priced compared to other high end wineries. We loved it so much that we joined as members! We definitely can’t wait to come back. Definitely ask for Kurt to take care of you when you go!

We were in Napa for a milestone birthday, and the birthday girl made the arrangements. I was super excited Nickel & Nickel was on our itinerary because a Sommelier friend in Denver had told me about this special occasion wine... And I love a great Cab! Drew was a fantastic host - very knowledgeable! And interesting and fun. The grounds are gorgeous! As we walked outside, I recognized Opus One in the background (a very interesting tour we did years ago). We just loved the custom tasting menus they made for our birthday girl! The flight of single vineyard Cabs was amazing! We all had a tough time choosing a favorite, so we each went home with a mixed case. Can’t wait for our delivery and share the stories when we share the wine!

Highly recommend Groth to anyone looking for truly fantastic wine. In 2 days, we did 7 tastings at different, highly recommended vineyards and the wine at Groth was by far the best. This is a small, family owned winery that provides a warmer experience than the "amusement park" style larger wineries. Our host Mark was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the wines/estate. He poured 4 very generous tastings (Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Cabernet, Reserve Cabernet) and all were fantastic. The tasting included a walk through the barrel rooms & terrace. No knowing what to expect, we did the entry level tasting, which was a great value for the modest price-point. This one is definitely worth a stop and is one we will re-visit next trip.

Cultivated with passion and a singular vision, Opus One produces one ultra-premium Bordeaux blend a year. A collaboration between Robert Mondavi and Baron Philippe de Rothschild, Opus One arose out of passion. And beginning with the first harvest in 1979, every vintage of Opus One has expressed the vision and passionate spirit of its founders. Our goal is to create a wine of ultimate quality that reflects the traditions and innovations of both founders. Visiting the winery is by appointment only.
Opus One is a collaboration between two legends of the wine world -- Robert Mondavi of Napa Valley and Baron Phillipe de Rothschild of Bordeaux's Chateau Mouton-Rothschild. The coming together of these two visionaries has resulted in one of the most iconic wineries in the world. Located just behind Napa's famous Oakville Grocery, Opus One rises from the earth in a manner that calls to mind Space Odyssey 2001. Driving in on the lane to the front entrance makes you feel that you are arriving somewhere very special. Opus One wines (there are only two -- Opus One and Overture) do honor to the winery's architecture -- beautifully balanced and memorable. Production is limited to 25,000 cases per year, which explains the wine's lofty price. Tours are by appointment only, as follows (with website description): 1) Estate Tour & Tasting -- 90 minutes/$85 per person The Estate Tour & Tasting offers insight into Opus One’s history, aesthetics, vineyards and winemaking. This hosted visit includes a tour of the winery and culminates in the Grand Chai, where guests may taste the current vintage of Opus One. Space is limited. 2) Library Tour & Tasting -- 120 minutes/$140 per person The Library Tour & Tasting offers a more intimate exploration of Opus One. Guests will be escorted through an immersive tour of the winery, beginning in the Salon and concluding in the Private Library with a formal seated tasting of two vintages of Opus One. Space is limited. The barrel room (Chai) -- 1,000 barrels (at a cost of $1,300 each) -- is a thing of beauty, with grape-red center-stained oak barrels stretching in an arc around 1/2 of the underground cellar. Bring your camera! I must give a special "Thank You" to our host guide -- Nancy -- whose informative presentation and personal touch made us feel so welcome. Thank you, Nancy!! Bottom line, Opus One is truly a memorable visit. Count yourself lucky to enjoy it! Highly Recommended!
