These gardens, located in Whitnall Park, offer an outstanding variety of plants and flowers including significant collections of roses and perennials.
Visiting the spectacular China Lights exhibit was worth dealing with the throngs of eager attendees who also marveled at the creative display of clever and historically inspired scenes. There is signage to describe each area, but the downloadable app allowed more detail. There were dance and martial arts performers and music adding to the feel of the experience. Parking in remote lots was aided by shuttle bus transport. I would suggest that at the entrance gate that there could be separate lines for persons who had prepaid vouchers. All in all a delightful evening.

The Basilica of St. Josaphat is a ministry of the Conventual Franciscans on the South Side of Milwaukee in Historic Lincoln Village. The Basilica is a Franciscan center for prayer and spirituality, inspiration and beauty. It is home to a vibrant Roman Catholic parish and remains a testament to the faith of the Polish immigrants that created it. We invite you to join us for a visit, a tour, for worship or in prayer.
Its the gem of Milwaukee. its in a rough area of town, what appeared to be a hooker outside. lock your car doors hold your kids hands. the staff were nice.

The trails here are well marked and color coded so you can't get lost. All sorts of different habitats are experienced here. A nice clean air conditioned nature center building with restrooms and a souvenir shop. Plenty of parking but you'll have to pay a few dollars and post the receipt on your dashboard.

Awesome place. Been coming here for many of years and never had a bad experience. Staff is always helpful and are good workers. Place is always very clean as are the bathrooms. Concessions are great and the new restaurant and bar is very good. As far as seats...very comfy... Do yourself a favor and take family or friends or date and go check out a movie here.

This park is beautiful. Whether you want to play soccer, do archery, climb on play structures, picnic, hike, walk, bike, golf or go to the beach. Clean, safe, wide open. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the beach. Swim, or walk on either sand or the more "wild" rocky parts. Hike seven bridges down through the woods to Lake Michigan. You will find it hard to believe that you are only10-12 minutes from downtown. It really is a secret...don;t tell too many people so it stays that way !!

City Lounge is truly a place for everyone looking for a good time.
Over the past year, with the new ownership, City Lounge has shattered all expectations for a small town bar. From City Limits Fest to weekly paint nights and Packer parties, City Lounge has made sure to access the entertainment needs of all!
City Lounge features over 30 beers on tap, a countless variety of liquor, an extensive martini list, and food that caters to those looking for a quick bite as well as those looking for a full meal. They even have gluten free options!
During the summer months, there are live bands outside in the beautiful beer garden every Saturday night. Year round, you can count on DJs every Friday and Saturday night. They also often have acoustic musicians on Friday nights if you're looking for something a little more low key.
City Lounge was first recognized as being the only smoke-free bar in the area before the smoking ban and they continue to hold up their reputation by remaining incredibly clean, classy, and respectable.
Last year, I helped host a Bridal Shower in City Lounge's beer garden and we received so many compliments! The venue, mimosa bar, and staff were so helpful and the cost was incredibly reasonable for such a great space! Book your next party here and take advantage of their awesome birthday specials.
If you're looking for something to do any night of the week, City Lounge is the place to be!

We've hosted our annual awards banquet here since 2005 and each year they do a great job of service and food. All of our clients enjoy the buffet spread. They are great with the kids as most of our group is made up of children

We stopped here while out for a drive with my elderly mother. It was a beautiful Fall afternoon with a terrific view of the late (even from the parking lot). Small swimming beach for warmer days along with a boat launch and interesting breakwater wall to climb on.

This is a small museum and visitor's center at the company's headquarters, but worth a stop for the person who loves diggers and large equipment. You can use the simulator to see how much rock you can load in a truck (much harder than it looks), view displays showing how equipment is used all over the world, and learn much more about how these machines helped create the Panama Canal. Two floors with volunteers who are former employees with a passion. This used to be Bucyrus but was bought by Caterpillar. You'll recognize the logo when you see the building. Very interesting.
