Attended the Nutcracker with dancers from the Cecil Dance Company. We were not only impressed by the talent but the costumes and scenery. The seats were very comfortable and easy to access.

The Upper Bay Museum is a non-profit all-volunteer organization, dedicated to preserving the lifestyle of the waterman and hunter of the upper Chesapeake Bay. The mission of the Upper Bay Museum is: to collect, preserve and display historical documents and artifacts; to use them to teach the Heritage of the Upper Chesapeake Watermen; to maintain the century-old H. L. Harvey Company commercial fish house as a museum building; to promote activities to conserve and propagate Chesapeake Bay waters, marine life, waterfowl and upland game. We are typically open from Memorial Day to Labor Day each year. Check our website or Facebook page for details.

Well kept trail takes you along the cliffs, fields and forest to the lighthouse at Turkey Point. The trail is rocks/grass and is fine for most levels of walking from small children to older adults, but it is not wheelchair/scooter accessible. The grass along the pathways is cut very wide, so passing folks on the trail can be done while socially distanced, on most parts of the trail (there are a few narrow spots). Very nice walk to a scenic view!

Turkey Point Lighthouse is reached with a small trek along a well maintained trail from a parking area at the south end of Elk Neck State Park. There are benches along the way of one needs to take a break. Historical signage informs one about the structure built in 1833. The little gift shop is only open certain days. Located atop steep cliffs one the setting provides a dramatic view out into the Bay.
