Bring a camera, if your into history, ad I. Imagination flourishes when visting this attraction, and free at that. But i left a little contribution. Excellent area, with lots of benches, free parking and just watching boats go by.

Located in the heart of Port Dover, the Lighthouse Festival Theatre is committed to nurturing the community's value for arts and culture while fostering and promoting professional live theatre.
I usually get a 3 show subscription and enjoy close up comedic theater productions. Lighthouse never fails to provide a good show. The artistic director knows people come out to have hun so he selects shows that provide people with what they want. Easy location, great seats anywhere in the theater, comfortable, friendly staff and access for handicapped.

Beautiful Long Point beach, but I came here to talk about the fish and chips. So, first, long point is beautiful. Just go, have a drive, walk the beach, do some fishing. What ever you like, it is a prestine, amazing spot to do it. Now, I really came her eto write a review for the Chip Ship food truck. Beautiful fish and chips set on the little canal with boats passing by. The staff are friends, the food is amazing and the setting is perfect. A must if you are in the area.

We were in Port Dover for our rental but drove to Simcoe on the two weekends for a baseball tournament. The baseball diamonds the grandkids played on were wonderful, great bleacher seating, nice playground which bordered in this trail. I saw and spoke to several locals, and they very proudly spoke of the trail and how one individual said she rode to Brantford. We came across several bike riders in our way back and that is when I noticed the sign for the trails. I wish we had been able to spend more time before we had to go home. But if we get back there, would love to explore it more. Wonderful that we have such wonderful trails in this area. Makes me wonder what else we missed.

We were pleasantly surprised with New Limburg Brewing. We had heard great things for a couple years and had been meaning to go for so long. Finally making reservations and going was a great decision! I recommend making rezzies, cause they get very busy. For good reason as well! This place is the perfect example as to why Belgian-style beer is some of the best in the world! We have been to New Limburg twice in the last 3 weeks now and have not had a bad beer yet! All of their beer is foamy and creamy, with distinct flavours, even if it has a light crisp taste. My favorite is the Tripel, which is a very thick and creamy, citrusy tasting beer at 9%, so very strong! There are light notes of caramel in it as well, and I have never tasted anything like it in my life! Their Wit beer is also good: nice and light, as is the Grisette, and the Belgian Blond. They have a couple sour beers that are available to buy in bottles too and we took some home to have. They were also very good! They carry beer from Meuse, which is nearby, but not open for tastings yet, and the Cherry can not be beat! It is a must-try! Next time we visit we will try to have some food as we havent tried it yet. The staff here are very friendly, and pretty knowledgeable about their beer. The setting is cool, located in an old school. Their patio is out back on a volley ball court in the sand. It was really cool to be able to take off our shoes and dig our toes in the sand on a hot day with a refreshing beer. We could almost close our eyes and pretend we were on the beach! Bring a mask with you when you come because it is mandatory ti wear when you walk through the building and to your seats.

We arrived in Port Dover late on a Friday night. We took a stroll out to the beach just as the sun was setting. We saw the lighthouse in the distance and made a note to come back the next day. The next was a beautiful day and we took a walk out to the end of the pier. Many benches along the pier to sit and enjoy the view. Thought we'd be able to go into the lighthouse but it is not accessible. Nevertheless it was lovely to look at and we enjoyed the peaceful time. A beautiful place to unwind.

This beach is not wide but the swimming is great and you can walk out a long way before the water is over your head. The bottom is mice and dandy with no weeds or rocks. It stretches for a long way so it’s easy to find a place to sit. No social distancing issues
