We have been going to the Melodrama for years and it just keeps getting better and better. The plays are great, yet we many time come out saying it was a great Melodrama but the vaudeville was better. The actors are very talented and work very hard.

For more than 50 years PCPA - Pacific conservatory Theatre has been presenting exemplary theatre and providing excellent training with a resident company of theatre professionals. Begun in the summer of 1964, founder Donovan Marley laid the ground work for a year-round professional theatre company. PCPA remains the only resident professional company on the Central Coast producing consistent quality entertainment for the community while training thousands of actors and theatre technicians for a career in theatre.
Fun and well done theatre, very fair family friendly cost, and kid friendly snacks and intermission.

Laetitia has consistently been a staple Friday afternoon stop since we moved to the central coast. Hands down the best sparkling wine in the state and some great Pinots as well. Sit outside and sip, maybe play a game of bocce, and relax!

Monarch Dunes is Woodland's tribute to the origins and tradition of golf. Surrounded by windswept dunes and eucalyptus trees, coastal vistas and amber-colored hillsides, Monarch Dunes Golf Club is reminiscent of the true links-style courses found in Scotland and a must play for those who seek a challenging, yet amiable, unspoiled golf adventure. Monarch Dunes: Links to the traditions of golf.
We played the 12 hole par 3 course and thoroughly enjoyed it. Interesting assortment of holes with very tricky greens. Very nice layout with a variety of holes. Some water holes. Greens were soft but relatively quick. I'm a 9.1 index and found it challenging enough to want to play it more.

Some people think that because Arroyo Grande is such a small town and that the venue is at a high school, it won't be much. The Clark Center is a state-of-the-art performance venue. Truly a hidden gem in our little town.
Ample parking, convenient location and great selection of performances are just some of the outstanding features. There are no bad seats. Acoustics are very good. Clean restrooms and plenty of space to mingle during intermission.
We are so lucky to have the an arts and entertainment venue in town as the next "big" venue is at Cal Poly. Yes, it still has a local flair and that's what makes it so special.

I will not reveal who my massage therapist is because I do not want her to not have time for me! If you want an outstanding experience and feel like you are a million miles from home, go to Sandalwood Spa. All the staff are friendly and welcoming. The facilities are excellent and tastefully decorated. I have often gone for lunch and then a spa treatment . . . pure heaven.

Local organic, pesticide free produce and fruits, available three days a week.
Fun stop for tourists, especially if you are in a vacay rental with a kitchen.
Everything is fresh picked and delicious. In addition to produce, there's bread, flowers, honey, eggs, and depending on the day fish, chicken, beef, lamb and pork. And you can even grab dessert from a local baker.
Rutiz Farm is the place I visit before the local grocery stores. Can't recommend it enough.

Small museum, but very informative. They have limited hours, so plan accordingly (Wednesday - Saturday from 10-4). Nice staff and lots of information.
