This was a great place for a quick hike. The boardwalk trail was nice, saw some turtle sunning themselves on a log in the water. Good way to end the day.

When there is little else to do because of Covid and you need to a) get out of the house, and b) get a bite to eat - what can you do? Visit a brewery of course. After searching brewery ratings in the area we decided to hit Stoneface Brewing in Newington since the ratings were excellent and they have good. The brewery is very easy access just off the highway right outside of Portsmouth as you head north toward Dover. The outside is unassuming and the inside is spacious and fun with murals and such on the wall and well spaces tables. We tasted a few selections and eventually went for the Imperial Berliner w/ Cranberry & Orange, and the Milk Stout w/ Peanut Butter. Both were excellent as the Weisse was tart and bold with nice subtle fruit flavors. The Stout had a hint of sweetness with well balanced peanut butter and cocoa flavors. We also tried the Pretty Much Exactly (Stout with strong molasses flavor), the Milk Stout w/ Coffee (bold coffee flavor), and the Pineapple & Ginger Elixir (aged ale with mild???? & ginger flavors). For a bite we simply went with the tuna melt. It was classic, yummy and sizable. The fries were awesome! Hand cut and superbly prepared - a great surprise!!! Wait staff was excellent and overall a wonderful experience. We will be back and hopefully we all won’t have to be spaced and wearing masks in a few months!

The Mall at Fox Run is a one level enclosed regional shopping mall conveniently located just outside of Portsmouth, NH at the intersection of Spaulding Turnpike (US 4 and US 16) and Fox Run Rd. We are approximately two miles northwest of I-95, and are the only regional shopping mall within a 40-mile radius.
There’s finally a new store in the mall bringing fresh offerings! The most experienced body piercer in New England, Rose from Miraculous Creations in Worcester MA has opened a studio in the mall. It’s called Miraculous Creations 2 and offers full professional body piercing, permanent makeup, Microblade Eyebrows, medical tattoos and simplistic tattoos. The shop is super clean, fun and bright. Also a huge selection of body jewelry and everything’s at fantastic prices!
