Situated on the Brahamagiri hill opposite Nerul station ( west side), the Venkatswara Temple also called Balaji temple is a must visit place. The temple is an exact replica of the famous Tirupati Balaji temple. The serene and calm atmosphere inside is soothing . The rituals and aarti performed daily is divine. There are several small temples around the parikarma. There is facility for performing Mundan ceremony for kids . The priests are multilingual and polite. Flowers andofferings can be purchased from a shop located within the temple. One feels blessed to visit this holy place.

First of all I should start by thanking the authority for creating such a wonderful park and concept. Being so close to our homes we were not even aware of it till a friend of mine brought it to my notice and I instantly agreed to visit. This is present on the Thane creek. If you are coming from the Eastern express towards Airoli, you can actually see the creek below as you pass the Airoli toll gates. This creek is a hunting and resting ground of a lot of migratory birds across the entire stretch of mangrove forest. If you have children you should take them here as it will provide them first hand experience and learning of our ecosystem and make them individual climate champions as the next generation will need a lot of them especially the manner in which we have abused our planet and continue to do so, The entry ticket for Adults is Rs 50/- and Rs 25/- for children above 5 years. It would be advisable to carry a ID card just in case asked for. Parking is available inside in an open ground and there are no charges for it, The park is still being built. Once you purchase your ticket you need to visit a small museum on Marine diversity and its a must visit for all. There is an Audio visual room which shows a 10 mins documentary about the Thane creek and I enjoyed it thoroughly. After that you can visit the small museum which highlights the eco diversity of the planet and sensitise children on single used plastic. It also has a lot of speakers wherein you need to press the button to hear the calls of birds of that zone. It brought the child out of me. There are also a lot of pictures of wildlife to learn and get sensitive about After the museum you should head towards the board walk. Its a walk made indigenously by bamboo and takes you to the view point of the creek. Its just fantastic and you get quite a close view of the flamingoes at the creek. Also as you walk past you will surely spot a few herons, cranes, sand piper feasting on the mud. There is also a crab pool. Most people gets confused and land up at the boat jetty as the board walk directions are adjacent to it and thus keep your eyes open. The board walk is the main attraction and should not be missed at any cost The price, the quality of the museum and importantly the time you spend to admire the beauty of nature will make you happy for a time well spent alone or with your family. Rush here asap If you want to go for a boat ride please book in advance. Call the number 99876 73737. It would be busy most of the time so you have to persevere. Hard work will pay off with an excellent ride. Hope you enjoyed the review and have a good time

This is one such park in Mumbai, beyond which even foreign parks seem useless. This park is the pride of Mumbai. it is too big. You can plan a picnic with your family.

It has a large area with few amusement rides like toy train, giant wheel, bouncee castle and octopus ride. There is also a kids play area, duck pond and amphitheatre. It has miniature models of the 7 wonders of the world. Overall a very good experience for kids. You can spend 2 to 3 hours here. Weekends and evenings are crowded. There is an entry fee and all rides are chargeable.

Kharhills is urban jungle amid concrete of Navi Mumbai. Just opposite Kharghar Golf course Practice range, it is moderate trekking experience. It takes about 25-30 minute for light trek to phanaswadi village 1.75 Km. The range from Phanaswadi view point provides breathtaking view of Navi Mumbai. It is open all months except Rainy season. No Guide required, just follow some trekker and voila...Take children along.

It is a very beautiful waterfall situated between lush greenery mountain. Good to take a long and chilled bath - small natural swimming pool type formation where the water falls is added advantage. Few shops nearby to have hot tea with snacks.
