Mt Fuji was covered by low clouds and that gave us a reason to drive up to the 5th Station. Winding road up with some hairpin turns. About an hour to reach the top. Several stops for photos. The 5th station is crowded with busloads of tourists. Very challenging for photo opportunities without having someone in the frame. Some parts of the footpaths are ice covered and slippery. My son slipped and fell, resulting in some abrasions on his knees. Visitors are required to leave the place by a certain time, so please plan ahead to have ample time for photos and also to enjoy the view.

Really worth the bus ride to Mt. Fuji 5th Station. Great lookout views with plenty of opportunities to take pictures. There is a gift shops with a large varieties of souvenirs. We had Asian food for lunch there. Also snack and fast food available. Good memories and pictures! Something for a bucket list!

This snow resort is on 1st station of Mt.Fuji. It takes only about 90 minutes from Tokyo by car. We have 6 courses for beginners, intermediates and advanced. We preare mogul slope as well as snow park. It is a best ski resort for family. We have sledding area for children and also have ski and snow board for children's practice. Children will enjoy with snow safety. We can offer official Fujiten Snow Resort Bus Tour. This tour is the cheapest way to go to Fujiten Snow Resort from Kawaguchiko station. The tour cost is 2500JPY, it includes a 1000yen coupon which can be use at the restaurant, rentals or souvenir shops. So actually, the transportation fee is 1500JPY! If you use a taxi from Kawguchiko station, it will cost approximately more than 5000JPY. This bus tour is the cheapest way to go to Fujiten Snow Resort. And another merit is that you can make a reservation on the website in advance.
