Nestled in the heart of Cheshire lies Natwich Hack Green, the nation's most secret former defense sites. On a delightfully peaceful day as you rise serenely into the air you will be met with beautiful views over picturesque patchwork farmland and the rolling Cheshire countryside a perfect setting for a balloon ride.

Doesn't matter when you go here , it has reliably tasty meals. The Cake /Desert selection is very hard to resist ???? Looking at the meat counter on my way out , I was reminded that they have a First Class Butchery , that I must use more !

Welcome to Nantwich Museum. The fascinating history of one of Cheshire's most attractive and historic towns is brought to life by Nantwich Museum, founded in January 1980. Located in Pillory Street, at the heart of the town, the museum has main galleries telling the story of Nantwich through the ages - Roman salt making, Tudor Nantwich's Great Fire, the Civil War Battle of Nantwich (1644) and the more recent shoe and clothing industries. Free Admission.
Thank you to Andy for leading the walking tour of historical Welsh Row. From the Frog Channel to the nearest house to the great fire of Nantwich to have survived. Very informative and I would recommend.

This parish church is a complete gem which in certain aspects can compete with many cathedrals..The star of the show is its chancel with its vault, bosses and magnificent windows.Best of all are the superb choir stalls which are only really bettered by the earlier set at Chester Cathedral..A real plus was the brave step taken by the arch victorian church restorer George Gilbert Scott to open up the space under the central tower to put a coloured vault which is most effective..If all this is not enough there is a magnificent medieval stone pulpit an interesting 17th centry one..There are interesting monuments, victorian screens even an attractive 1970's tapistery. This is a real treasure house which needs shouting about and visiting. The local church needs to be commended for keeping this church open and well cared for.

Ordered 2 sirloin steaks and trimmings to help celebrate my husbands birthday on Saturday. Collected from The Globe ready on time unpacked our meal and tucked in at home . What a beautiful tasty succulent steak it was, with Chips tomatoes and mushrooms plus pepper sauce . Haven't used The Globe before but will certainly be back. Definitely recommend.
