Cellar door and vineyard overlooking the majestic and ancient Blackwood Valley. Wine tasting, wine sales and platters available.
A Nannup local suggested that we try the Whimwood Winery and stay for lunch. We started the visit with some wine tasting, followed by a light lunch. The owners Maree and Steve are very friendly and welcoming and the light lunch platters go down well. Although it is a small winery, the wines themselves are top notch and have won a several awards. Highly recommend a visit if you are ever in the Nannup region.

Lovely natural pool just outside of Nannup. Definitely recommend you go. The only downside was trying to drive on the gravel in a small car.

Visit our farmshop located 12 km outside the picturesque town of Nannup, the heart of the South West. Conveniently situated between the Margaret River wine region and Pemberton, famous for its tall trees. Sample our delicious range of farmhouse cheese. *Please note our cafe section is currently closed
On the way to our accommodation in Albany we stopped to check out the cheese's here. Warmly greated, nice tasting for a gold coin, I think if you don't buy. Good selection catering for differing tastes, lovely opportunity to move away from traditional cows cheese to scrumptious ???? cheese. Prices good Ended up buying the Brie (to die for), Fetta and a Farmhouse cheese. Armed with these, sike hand, bread and spiced pickles, dinner with a glass of Amberley Chenin was quickly devoured. The winner and n all this was the cheese's. Well worth the stop, I expect the Creamed ???? from there will be as good. Do yourself a favour, have a break and pick up a nice bit of cheese Grommet

Situated centrally on the highway between Nannup, Manjimup and Pemberton this is the perfect stopping point to take in the rural life of South West of Western Australia. The Tearooms open to visitors Fridays to Sundays providing Devonshire tea and light lunches. Enjoy the sensory experience that is lavender. The Lavender we grow for dried flower is in full bloom December and January. We also open our private garden for viewing at different times of the year. Our planting is small so don't expect a sea of lavender as we use our lavender for our dried lavender products such as gorgeous Lavender Teddy Bear or Heat Packs available in farm shop as well as at our shop in town called A Taste of Nannup 16 Warren Rd Nannup right next to the clock tower. We have a campground that is open all year round and caters for tents, camper trailers, motorhomes and small caravans. We also have an onsite van "Millie" the van.
We had a great afternoon at the lavender farm, the owners were welcoming, informative and very knowledgeable about the area! They also told us about the Marron Farm around the corner, as well as all the other local farm stalls around! They were also very informative about the cycling in the area which was very helpful! And then we had the scones.. they were just amazing and possibly the best lavender scones in WA, can't wait to go have some again soon!
