We invite you to create some space for an experience and memory within your day, where for three hours you will be transported on a journey of food, fun and exploration. Our goal is that you will be refreshed and energized in the end. Well-fed, too, of course!

We like visiting the town because there are a lot of tasting rooms along the main street. It saves a lot of driving. There are many nice places in town, to taste wines and to eat. We have visited the tasting room many times and we are always impressed with the quality of their wines. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They will give you recommendation on places for lunch. Great people.

Marisolio Tasting Bar

The first time I came here was six or seven years ago, and just loved it, with each product seeming to taste even better than the last. Since that first visit I've purchased from them many times online (I live nearly 400 miles away) and have visited during every trip to Calaveras County. They send out occasional recipe and cooking ideas, which is very much appreciated. I have visited many other olive oil/balsamic tasting rooms, but Marisolio's products are by far the best.

A friend of mine recommended this winery to check out. It was very nice. Due to the pandemic it was pretty quiet, which made it very nice and comfortable. I really hadn’t wanted to do much, been very careful on going out. The wines were wonderful, my server was great! I did a solo trip for the weekend. I bought several wines to bring hone to share which hubby. I will go back!

Indian Rock Vineyard

Locals and visitors alike come to Indian Rock for our exceptional wines, and stay for the beautiful atmosphere. Just over a mile from charming downtown Murphys, our historic tasting room is a peaceful getaway from the outside world. Surrounded by our estate vineyards, where we proudly grow all of the wines that we produce, guests can see and experience what makes Indian Rock wines special. Indian Rock Vineyards is proud to be the only winery in the area that produces wines exclusively from estate vineyards. A stroll among the vines, wine glass in hand, is a wonderful way to connect with this special little valley. Adjacent to our tasting room is a spacious lawn dotted with picnic tables, corn hole boards and Adirondack chairs, where guests are welcome to relax with a glass or bottle of our wine. There is also shaded seating under our covered veranda. Both overlook a large pond, home to dozens of trophy-sized rainbow trout—ask your server for fish food to see them in action.

Indian Rock is one of our favorite wineries in Murphys. They have so many varieties of wine that you are sure to love one if not all of them. The service is top notch and the grounds are lovely. We love being wine club members so we have an excuse to stop by every time we are in the area to visit the tasting room 'gals' who have become more like family.

Winter awesome time to go! WAY less crowded. Very cool small museum. We’re told in the museum to ask if Conrad could give us a tour when we went to the tasting room. He was not in the room and the head of security, Steve, said he’d give us one! And boy did he. He was wonderful! Such a family feeling of a huge grounds, 500 acres, caves, concert venue, heard great stories and antidotes. Highlight!

Ducking down steep stairs (there are rails on each side), with a group of about 15 other people and a knowledgeable guide (Thanks Diane!) made this cave a fun adventure. We went on the 10:30 first tour and it was perfect! It fills up fast because they can only take a limited group of people due to the stairs and platfroms, so I recomend the early tour. By the time we left, it was booked until 2:30 PM. Lots of things to see!
