The Ceramic Barn has been South Jersey's neighborhood ceramic art studio for over 45 years, giving back to the community since it was founded in 1969. We believe that a strong community is the foundation for great things, and strive to provide an environment that facilitates both fun and self-expression for all. We are a traditional meets contemporary ceramic arts studio specializing in ceramics, greenware and bisqueware. We have approximately 10,000 plaster molds on-site, which means we make the majority of pieces ourselves. By pouring the pieces ourselves, it allows us to customize pieces with names, sayings, etc. Looking for something specific that you don't see on our shelves? Not a problem! Just let us know and we will be more than happy to get it for you! We offer classes covering everything from painting to hand-building and wheelwork, and also have the perfect environment for hosting events such as birthday parties, kids' nights, girls' nights, after-school programs, field trips, scout gatherings and many more! We also offer canvas painting events. BYOB!

Had our daughter’s and her best friend’s combined graduation party at the large pavilion at Laurel Acres Park. The park department was easy to work w, the space accommodated a big crowd for a small fee and a great time was had by all.

Our historic property includes Jacob's Chapel and the Colemantown Meeting House, which were stops for runaway slaves on the Underground Railroad. In addition, many black Civil War Soldiers are buried in our Jacob's Chapel Cemetery, where Dr. James Still is also buried. Our Place in History provides Underground Railroad tours and reenactments. On a full week’s vacation for the Wawa Welcome America Festival in Philadelphia, we were staying in Mount Laurel. We decided to have one day in Mount Laurel. After visiting Paws Discovery Farm and the ShopRite Shopping Center, we spent the afternoon antiquing. Rancocas Woods Craft Co-Op was near Creek Mercantile where we went first after lunch. As a co-op, it carried goods from many crafters. My guess was about 50. On our visit, I came upon a find about 15 feet inside the door. It was a pair of adorable white enameled cat face earrings. They were the perfect hostess gift for a friend who has a lot of cat things and is known in our circle as The Crazy Cat Lady. They were an astonishingly inexpensive $5.00. I couldn’t get them out of the shop fast enough. There were rooms and nooks loaded with high-quality handmade goods at great prices. There were lots of things that would make nice gifts for children. There were some cute, cuddly stuffed animals. The designs were all original. In one of the main room displays, my friend found two catnip-filled items much like placemats for The Crazy Cat Lady’s two cats. In another area, I found a small 4” x 3” lined lace pillow-shaped sachet with lavender inside to keep my suitcase smelling fresh. That was only $4.00. Again, an item I couldn’t get out of the store fast enough. I was half expecting someone to come running after me, saying, “Wait, wait! Pricing mistake!” There was a basket with small free samples of handmade goat milk soaps from Country This Primitive That. I got a sample of the Wine Vineyard scent; my friend got one labeled Simple Unscented. We really liked this shop and would go there again on a future trip to the Philadelphia-Camden-Mount Laurel-Cherry Hill area. We rate Rancocas Woods Craft Co-Op at 5.0 and highly recommend a visit. Wonderful experience there today. Great throughput with Covid protocols in place. Very expeditious and courteous. Doctor called my phone after a 15 minute examination, explained everything, and staff came out shortly after with my cat to complete visit, payment, etc. Completely seamless and a wonderful experience. Would not hesitate to recommend and would go back in a second if necessary Chris

Great way to spend a rainy day doing the indoor activities. Then cleared up enough to play mini golf outside and ride the swing ride. Too chilly for water park perhaps try that on a future trip on a warmer, sunnier day.

I went here 30 years ago as a little kid and just recently took my kids. It’s a great place to get close to animals and let the kids imaginations run wild
