I've done 2 escape rooms here: the Geek Room and the NC Photo Hunt. Both were a lot of fun. If you have not done an escape room before, I would suggest the Photo Hunt room. The puzzles were interesting but not as hard as the Geek Room. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I am definitely looking forward to trying out the other rooms they have in the near future.

Husband and I had a few minutes to wait for our daughter's plane to arrive and checked out this neat FREE park. Wish they had this when our kids were younger. Great place to take the kids for a picnic, sand play, playground and relax. It is also the perfect place to park for free while waiting on a plane to land. Great observation deck and restrooms.

I participated in my 5th Curse OF The Crab race this past weekend. Rode 32 miles in 3 hours. Crabtree lets TORC host this race each year. Great race for the mountain bike community. Lots of families and kids come out, racers from all over in NC. The staff is very helpful and support the race. It was a great time. These are great trails, great park, an area that the community uses a lot. Hopefully the RDU Airport authority does not bulldoze this place and build office buildings and Starbucks.

Koka Booth is where Cary Diwali is celebrated every year. The sprawling facility caters to the needs of the large number of people who attend Cary Diwali everyone. The acoustics of the place, for an open air amphitheater, is amazing. Sufficient parking, beautiful walk through the "woods" from parking to the theater, the pond, the walking trail, everything comes together to provide a great experience.

Open air movie screenings with family cuddled up on the lawn with a blanket and food, is an experience that cannot be missed.

I had a date at this place for rock climbing and it turned out great. Mike, one of the people on the front desk, was very nice and informative on safety as well as the different walls we could climb (belay, auto-belay, and bouldering). It was quite packed for a Saturday due to some birthday parties but we were able to get a lot of climbing in. Prices are reasonable and I hope to be back soon to get my belay certification.

Bond Brothers Beer Company

Their recently completed industrial modern space is quickly becoming a popular epicenter in the downtown community. With over 9000 square feet of brewery, taproom and beer garden to enjoy, they have built a destination that matches the quality of their beers. There are 14 unique beers on tap, a robust barrel sour program, monthly guided brewery tours, and a kid/dog-friendly environment. Bond Brothers Beer Company has created a must-see destination in the heart of the Triangle.

I loved this brewery! The location is amazing and the atmosphere is fun, family friendly, and dog friendly. There were kids and dogs everywhere and everyone was smiling!

We had a couple of rounds of drinks and enjoyed the beer as well as the food from the cafe/deli and the food truck. It was all great - food delicious and the beers were good.

It's close to a lot and easy access on the weekends. I wish we had more breweries like this in northern Virginia.

North Carolina Museum of Art

One of the leading art museums in the American South, the North Carolina Museum of Art (NCMA) recently completed a major, three-year expansion that places it in the front ranks of museums nationwide. The NCMA offers a permanent collection spanning more than 5,000 years, a variety of celebrated exhibitions and public programs, an amphitheater for outdoor performances, and the nation’s largest museum park—164 acres of trails and parkland containing major works of art.

Reviewed By NCTraveler2015 - Raleigh, North Carolina

The North Carolina Museum of Art is a great place to visit. Admission is normally free for the main building and they just charge for special events such as special exhibitions or the yearly fundraiser Art in Bloom.

The museum has two parking lots and both are a short walk to the building. The museum is broken into different galleries. There is a modern section; Egyptian, European; American; African; Rodin's sculptures; and a large section of Jewish ceremonial objects. The permanent displays rotate to showcase more of the collection.

The museum also hosts movies; concerts and other performances. The Museum Park also contains artwork and focuses on ecological purposes too.

Iris is the museum restaurant if you are looking for a bite to eat and next to the restaurant is the gift shop.
