This place offers great scenery, flowers and ambience. The numerous benches along the way make this an ideal picnic site and the art sculptures on the grounds offer an additional cultural dimension. It's pretty and scenic and great for a stroll. Best of all it's free!

Ultimate race room. 7 full motion simulators. Perfect to train your racing skills and race against your friends.
We organized a company outing with a caterer, privatizing the site. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. I'm no pro in driving Formula 1 racing cars but the experience seemed very life-like, with four-point seat belts, vibrating seats that move horizontally and laterally, and impressive visuals; you can really get caught up in the action! It was a total hit and the evening was over too quicky. If you enjoy driving, a define must-try!

Dating from the period when the Romans occupied this area of the shores of Lac Leman, and situated very conveniently right by the passenger steamer docking jetty, and next door to one of the better restaurants in the area, this small and beautiful church is well worth a short visit to St Sulpice

About 4km uphill away from Morges train station, you follow a plain rural road, and around a corner is... a larger-than-life classic chateau!
The sudden appearance, on top of a rolling hill surrounded by rows and fields of vines is magic. Most unexpected. Like discovering a hidden treasure. We carried on to the base of the building. The through-lane allows you to get very close and see the details of the exterior. The Chateau looks brand new, but is over 1000 years old. The owners had just spent a considerable renovating and cleaning the castle exterior. The the pinkish stonework looks deceptively fresh. You can buy wine from the adjacent cellar in summer, I was told by locals, many of whom work the vineyard and winery in season.
We wandered through the vines and the adjacent small village centre. It must be busy in summer. It is simply a picture postcard experience.
From up on the gentle hill we have come, looking back you get magnificent views over Lake Geneva to the Swiss & French Alps... most of the length of the Lake. A superb Panorama.
You can walk or drive the approx 4km from Morges, or take the commuter rail to Chigny Station, overlooked by the Chateau.

I came on Rick Steves recommendation and was glad I did, its worth the visit, as you do see art in a different form. The artists are from societies fringe with unfortunate childhood stories, criminal backgrounds, mental health challenges. Their artwork benefited both them and society , I am glad the curator had the foresight to collect their works and the presentation was well done and added to our appreciation of their works. I especially enjoyed the works of nature on the upperfloors. I understand the works are rotated and you might see something else entirely on each visit. If you go early they only charge half price. I was disappointed in their choice for pictures on posters sold as I felt they chose the craziest, work rather than the prettiest work, Some of the artwork looks like it could have been drawn by a first grader and some was truly outstanding. In all well presented, thought provoking and well done. No wifi, You have to put bags into lockers, there are clean bathrooms, staff was helpful and friendly

Pierre-Yves Mottier has created, around his passion for waves and wind, a great water center. The Surf Shop is located on a beautiful and shallow sandy beach only 10 minutes from Lausanne. We rent, sell and teach stand-up paddle, wakeboarding, wakesurfing, canoes, pedalos and windsurfing. On land, you will enjoy our homemade ice-cream, waffles, sandwiches and pancakes! see you soon!
Our two girls took surfboard lessons here over two summers and loved their experience. I found all the staff to be professional, engaged and excellent with kids. Sometimes you don't get a lot of wind on the lake and when that happens, the girls did stand up paddle, so they always had a good tome and we were able to put our girls in a great activity with qualified monitors.

I'm not sure why anyone would go out of their way to visit a convention centre? If you must, this isn't a bad one. It is new (as of 2014) and quite shiny. There are a lot of sharp angles. On a warm summer's day, if you use your imagination and look at it from a certain angle, it still looks nothing like the Opera House in Sydney.

We visited the Chateau because we were in Morges for the afternoon and didn't have very high expectations since none of us are particularly interested in warfare / military history. However the Chateau is a collection of 4 museums, all of which have been very thoughtfully set up, combining the swiss military history up to the present. The museums are the Vaudois Military history, An artillery museum, a history of the police of Vaud canton and the lead figurine museum.
The latter was of particular interest to the kids as it had various historical battles set up using lead figurines.

As a huge Audrey Hepburn fan I felt lucky to see where she choosed to spend her life. Tolochenaz is a very small, but also very lovely town. You can imagine seeing Audrey walking those streets! Close to her home, right in the middle of the towns marketplace is a bronze statue to remember her.
