I live in Moorpark so I go here often. I like to watch both old movies reborn and the live theatre. It's such a great feeling to go see an old movie that you love on the big screen again... with a theatre full of other people who love it as much as you do. The Music Man and Galaxy Quest to name a couple. The live theatre shows are great too, South Pacific and Annie Get Your Gun were mesmerizing. The live shows use great talent, the acting and singing are superb. The sets, while not quite what you might see at the Ahmanson or Pantages, are quite well done for our little theatre. I highly recommend it.

Energren Brewing Company brews lagers, pilsners and a couple of other styles associated with traditional German brewing. I'm a huge fan of hoppy IPAs, but developed an appreciation for lagers while living in Massachusetts, where I was able to sample the excellent examples brewed by Jack's Abbey Brewing in Framingham. I didn't expect to be able to duplicate that experience when I moved to the West coast, so I'm extra grateful to have found this place. The sampling area features flights and pours in several sizes from the half-dozen or so offerings on tap any given day. A person can stick with the favorites almost always available, or take advantage of a special feature. Besides the bar, there are cafe tables and community-style picnic tables down the center of the area, adjacent to the brewing equipment at the rear. The place is clean, bright, family-friendly and generally just a joy to visit. A courtyard with additional seating is just outside. Food trucks are there most evenings. The brewery's website has a schedule, along with one for live music, always tasteful, restrained and varied. They even sponsor yoga sessions on weekend mornings. Visitors can also bring their own picnic baskets. Most of the regular brews are available canned, and the bar staff will also fill growlers. If there's a downside to the place, I haven't noticed it.

Love this place. Autumn is the only time we've been, but it is definitely a place for fun, food and photos. This family-run farm gives great attention to detail. Pumpkins everywhere and in every fashion. Fun corn-launching gun and an apple sling shot. A bee-decorated train to ride, plus wagons. Their vegetables are photo-worthy and gorgeous. Lots of animals to see and pet. Good crew that facilitates parking for you. Bring your kids (young and old) and they will love it.

Voted "One of the top 100 things to do with kids before they grow up". While smaller than your typical zoo, kids are entranced by close-up interactions with the animals, their habitats, and behaviors. Located on the Moorpark College campus on 5 acres with over 150 animals. The zoo is run by students participating in the EATM program who are eager to share their knowledge of and affection for the animals.Open to the public Saturday's and Sunday's from 11AM-5PM. Wildlife education shows with live animals are offered at 12:00 and 2:00. At 3:30 the public can witness a carnivore feeding. The feeding could involve anything from an ocelot, mountain lion, hyena, alligator, or lioness and is accompanied by a discussion about the animal's diet and its behavior in the wild.

I played this club cause I have family near the area. The course is very beautiful and well maintained. There are many holes with elevation changes which makes it challenging as well as offering very nice and scenic views. I had to rent some clubs because I was visiting and didn't bring my own set. The set I got was a full Titleist set which was great. The putter was a Scotty Cameron which was nice as well. I wished my game was as beautiful as this course but it was still fun. If you can handle the prices, I would recommend this course.

Played for the 1st time. It is a gorgeous, challenging course - lots of hills, ravines to carry, blind greens. They have redone the bunkers with nice soft, fresh sand (speaking from experience.)
