There are a few companies to choose from to go rafting but you should go with this one. It is owned by 2 guys who really make the trip worth your while. We went for the 'sportif' rafting and it was great fun and it didn't feel rushed. Cyril really went the extra mile and transported us to and from the rafting site. I would highly recommend doing this if you are in Montgeneve.

I'm not generally a dare devil and would normally say I hate fairground rides and rollercoasters.... however .... this luge has got to be done.
You go down in your own cart unless you have a young child who can ride with you.
It doesn't open until 1.30pm (or certainly not during this time of year) so is a good thing to plan to do after lunch which you could go to the lovely restaurant at the top of the gondola right by where the luge runs from.
The luge carts do have breaks but you don't want to ruin the ride for the person behind you so the least you use them the better!
Hold on tight and enjoy the ride! It's not the most comfortable cart and it did make my back hurt a little whizzing down the mountain but an excellent thing to do, well worth the 6euros and the little ones loved it too!

We visited Montgenevre as an intermediate / advanced skiier and a beginner. The resort catered for both abilities. The snow was fantastic with 3.5 meters at the top. Very well maintained, some slow chair lifts but it seems like they have upgraded a lot as well.
There is a lack of moguls for the advanced skier but there are long winding red runs down the mountain and would definitely recommend les gondrans, we had some fantastic afternoons up there.
Really enjoyed the free day skiing on the Milky Way and would definitely recommend.
The only thing that lets this resort down is the Apres, the place is very, very quiet and it doesn't get going until around 12, my advice would be to head for Boom Bar at 12 then Exit 'club' around 2am if you are searching for life. However, we were quiet happy going to Le Graal in the evenings for a couple of pints where there is live music a couple of nights a week.

ESF is the best school in the world. Professional and skilled teacher who can speak several languages will guide your kids. They will learn skiing in a safe and exciting environment. Tests are hard, expecially for higher levels, but when kids earn the medal they will be prouder.

Take the time to read the road signs at the fort because they tell you a bit about the history of the fort. The main street has lots of quirky (and artisanal) shops. Great views from the top. Lovely morning spent here followed by a light lunch at the Cote Jardin restaurant.

On a recent ski trip we visited here a couple of times. The spa area itself is lovely with great views down the valley. The changing rooms are open and clean, and not segregated which non-Europeans may find a bit strange.
It was the Christmas break so it was busy and this was to be expected. However, there was very little crowd control especially of young children running around the main pool areas. You can purchase a separate ticket for a quieter area but it is a pity to have to do this when some basic measures could be put in place.
Aside from that the spa is a great way to ease the aches and pains after long days on the slopes.

Tourist Office Cat.1, marked Tourism Quality opened along the year.
Following an accident, I was unable to ski and had a brace on my leg. I phoned the tourist office to ask if I would be able to use the chairlift in Claviere to reach a particular restaurant for lunch, when on foot, not skied....MoreWe are very sorry. We think that there was a misunderstanding : we understood that you want to take the chairlift in Claviere on skies. We are deeply sorry. Regards

Bon accueil, beau choix dans tous les domaines et très bon conseil.
Ne pas confondre avec des enseignes voisines portant un nom analogue, mais moins bonnes conseillères.
