I highly recommend the Mishawaka River Walk. I live close to Merrifield Park and use the river walk regularly to walk or ride my bike. They also have an outdoor fitness center on the route in Battell Park. Mishawaka has such great parks and 5 of them are connected by the river walk (Merrifield, Central, Battell, Beutter and Kamm’s Island). It’s always clean and well lit. Mishawaka does a great job of hosting events like summer concerts, festivals and even a farmers market on Sundays which are all accessible from the river walk. It’s a great place to be!

What a beautiful park!! The river walk along fhe river and the scenic views. Make for an amazing day of walking with the family. The kids had a blast running and playing along the way.

There is something about an old ice skating rink that is just puts a simple on your face. Merrifield is one of those places. Yes its old, yes its a little small, but it packs a ton of fun. Put the electronic device down and go visit the ice rink on a cold winter day.
