I had a great time during my taster session because I felt safe in the equiment and my instructor Ben gave me encouragement and the confidence to push myself a little bit further. At the end of the session I was very pleased with what I had achieved with Bens coaching. I would definitely recommend the taster session to my friends. Thanks Big Rock.

My son had his 18th Birthday Go-Karting yesterday (24/04/2021) Jacob is really unique- he has autism & is very particular about certain things. We were helped by Charlie who was simply amazing from start to finish. He helped organise, plan, prepare such a brilliant party. Even during the (end of thankfully) the covid pandemic we couldn’t have asked for more. The strict covid rules were applied at all times & the karting is of a real high standard. Jacob is absolutely beaming at coming first (obviously pre arranged) and spoke for the whole rest of the day about it. What an amazing experience- thank you Charlie & FF team. Five stars from us all!!

Bletchley Park, home of the WW2 Codebreakers, was once Britain's best kept secret and is now a vibrant heritage attraction open daily for visitors to learn how the Codebreakers' breath-taking achievements helped shorten WW2 by up to two years.
Bletchley Park contains a beautiful mansion house, park and lake. Also houses The National Museum of Computing. After the war, it was taken over as a Management Centre and my father was sent there - his office was on the first floor, front of the mansion house, just right of the main entrance. I myself attended a two-week training course there in 1961 so I know it of old and the present. In 2005 I attended a wedding there, the ceremony was held in the library and after in the dance hall. It is open every day. Special Note: Only assistance and guide dogs allowed in. Summer opening: (1 Mar – 31 Oct) From 09.30 to 17.00. Winter opening: (1 Nov – 28 Feb) From 09.30 to 16.00. Online advance prices: Adult – £19.00, Concessions – £16.60 Child 12 to 17 – £11.40 Under 12 – FREE Family Ticket – £49.40, 2 adult & 2 child under 17. On the day prices: Adult – £20.00, Concessions – £17.50 Child 12 to 17 – £12.00 Under 12 – FREE Family Ticket – £52.00, 2 adult & 2 child under 17. During WW2, in 1938, Winston Churchill chose Bletchley Park to be the home of Station X, housing code-breakers, the most famous being Alan Turin who set up the world's first programmable digital electronic computer called 'Colossus'. The scores of wooden 'Huts' that were built in the park, many of which are still standing house historical exhibits, including part of a rebuilt Colossus I was embarrassed to see an old mechanical adding machine on display that I used myself in the 1960s!

We recently went to see The Jersey boys at this lovely theatre. The show was fantastic music and songs very professional . The car parking in the multi-storey was excellently situated and very reasonable. However do be warned that the price of a small tub of icecream at £4.50 and a small wine served in a plastic container at £8.10 very expensive.

Snozone Milton Keynes is an outstanding venue for skiing, snowboarding and sledging indoors on real snow, all year round! We’ve taught more than three million people to ski and snowboard and we offer a wide range of activities for all ages and abilities, from beginner ski lessons to freestyle snowboarding sessions and family sledging fun in the snow! We are also the only indoor operator in Europe to operate our own Disability Snow school which means we can truly deliver ‘Sport for All’. We also operate our own fully licenced restaurants ‘The Alpine Kitchen’ serving up deliciously fresh home made food seven days a week.
As a nervous beginner, over 50 years old, I've had 4 fab ski lessons with different instructors in the last few weeks - John, Alex, Ovi and Gary. All very patient, clear informative, and I'm making progress beyond what I expected. Slow but sure! They always work at my pace. Great facility and excellent instructors.

The National Museum of Computing (TNMOC) is home to the world's largest collection of working historic computers. Follow the development of computing: from the Turing-Welchman Bombe and Colossus of the 1940s through the large systems and mainframes of the 1950s, 60s and 70s, to the rise of personal computing. To make sure we are doing everything possible to reduce the risk of spread of COVID-19 for our visitors, our valuable team , we have introduced new social distancing and hygiene measures onsite. To ensure we meet all government conditions for opening, and ensure we have social distancing measures in place, we have implemented the following: - Timed tickets to reduce crowding (please note we will not be able to allow entry if you turn up without a booking) - One way flow to reduce bottlenecks and keep social distancing. - Some restrictions on interaction with exhibits in order to protect the exhibits, museum staff/volunteers and visitors - Protective screens for ticket office
What an absolute gem of a place. On the same site as Bletchley Park but a separate attraction, and arguably the better of the two if you had to choose only one. The centrepiece is a working Colossus machine, together with its code breaking predecessors, and a highly engaging and knowledgeable team of volunteers to talk you through the details of how they work. And then there's a fascinating collection of computing technology that has been developed since, from mainframes to PCs, arcade games, air traffic control systems, phones and everything in between. You can even get hands on with a selection of old BBC, Spectrum, SNES etc for the nostalgia nerds among us! It's a wonderful collection of computing history, but even without that it's worth visiting just to see Colossus and the other code breaking machines, which they don't have at the main Bletchley Park site.

With the increase in cases of coronavirus in the UK and other countries the RSGB has taken the difficult decision to close the NRC temporarily from Wednesday, 18 March 2020. Even with extra precautions it is no longer possible to ensure the safety of NRC volunteers and visitors. We are very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause those who have planned visits but we hope people will understand the decision in light of the current fast-moving situation.
Part of the Bletchley Park site an intetesting run through the history of radio and the chance for a interesting chat with the volunteer radio hams who are there daily to help you understand the importance of radio hams to our success in WW2.

We have a good selection of farm animals - cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, pony, donkeys, chickens, ducks, geese, rhea and turkeys. We have a hatchery with various small animals - chicks, ducklings and guinea pigs and rabbits. There is also an aviary with budgies and cockatiels. On the Animal Park is also a play and picnic area. Please feel free to bring a picnic with you. We also sell some animals - guinea pigs, chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, pigs and goats. There is a play house and tractors for children to play with. You can purchase at our Gift shop children's books, gifts, toys, homemade jams, free range eggs (chicken, duck, geese, quail and turkey) and also buy hatching eggs and more. We have a Garden Centre producing a variety of shrubs, perennial and bedding plants, herbs and hanging baskets. A small shop sells planters, wind chimes, seeds and other horticultural sundries. At 11am there is a Story Time every first Sunday of the month. The cost is £4 per child including lunch box ( it does not include entrance to the farm). We organise children's parties.
Newly reopened after being saved from closure, much improved, new play activity area for children, small cars and tractors to zoom around in separate area, animals seem well cared for, cafe good all covid compliant, lots of clean hand washing stations. Thoroughly enjoyable visit stayed about 3 hours. Food at half price with government support eating out scheme, great for families.

Daytona Milton Keynes is the UK's Ultimate Outdoor karting venue boasting two exceptional race tracks complimented by excellent hospitality and conferencing facilities in the centre of Milton Keynes. Our race tracks are flood-lit so operational from 9am to 10pm. Our 1160 metre 'International kart race track' is the finest in the country and has hosted a variety of professional drivers including Lewis Hamilton. We also cater for juniors from 5+ years old who have the dedicated Junior 'North circuit' available to drive on 7 days a week. Operational throughout the year this outdoor venue provides the most fun you can have on four wheels and is Milton Keynes' premier sports complex.
I’ve been racing at Daytona MK since starting out 18 months ago at the ripe age of 37. I’ve found it to be a brilliant place for racing as a ‘hobby’, without the costs and time needed for owner kart racing. There’s plenty of car parking spaces, & from there when signing in at reception the staff have always been friendly, approachable and helpful to any questions. Arrive & Drive practice sessions are good to get used to the karts and track if a novice, and Open Races are good fun to get stuck into actual racing against others. Once confident and up to speed, Daytona runs an in-house championship series that is great to compete in against regular racers and test your developing skills. The outdoor track itself is a decent length, containing a variety of slow, medium and fast corners, as well as a long back straight. There’s a number of braking zones which can set up some good overtaking. Marshalls are posted at various points around the track to attend to any accidents promptly, as well as overseeing the racing and acting upon any ’unfair’ driving. The 4-stroke engined Sodi karts are ideal for learning from scratch & gaining racing experience in. For those wanting a touch more speed the 2-stroke engined DMAX karts, with more horsepower and lighter chassis, are an exciting progression. If wanting to devote a bit of time and money towards honing your driving, tuition sessions are available with one of the skilled staff members, which includes a track walk and private track time with them to analyse and work on your skills. I can say from personal experience that after having tutoring, my knowledge and performances improved greatly. It’s a great way to learn if wanting to take your racing and results a little bit more seriously. The junior track is also a very accessible way for children as young as 6 years old to experience karting, with the sessions run in as friendly, professional and safe a manner as the senior ones. My 8 year old stepson watched me racing and wanted to try it for himself, & since doing so he’s loved coming back many times. The staff again are friendly with him and he feels happy & comfortable going there, despite not having any previous karting experience. Overall, in my opinion it’s a great venue to go kart racing and I’m always looking forward to the next race. Fantastic track, great staff and food and drink available on site too. I highly recommend.

Gulliver's Land is designed especially for families and unlike many other UK theme parks we are perfect for kids aged 2 - 13. Enjoy a great family day out where you don't have to pay for parking! Look out for play areas across Gulliver's alongside amazing rides and attractions. Try the new twist n joust rollercoaster or head over to the tiny tots interactive play area. If you want to combine your theme park visit with another family experience then book a session at one of our individual attractions. Jump into the arena and battle it out in Blast Arena or prepare to get soaked in Splash Zone. Dinosaur and Farm Park gives you the chance to meet all your farm yard favourites. Head to the official Gulliver's website for detailed ticket information and opening times. Remember to follow Gully Mouse on Facebook and subscribe to our exclusive online special offers.
After the sprawling busy-ness of places like Chessington and Legoland, we were very keen to experience Gulliver’s Land given it’s focus on younger children and the notion that you don’t have to queue for very long for the rides. We bought tickets in advance for a Sunday and got to the park shortly after it opened. Sadly, the weather was miserable so the first thing we did was to get a poncho for our 4-year-old, while the 1 year old sat under the cover of her pram (but didn’t like being there at all). First impressions were good – very nicely presented, interesting buildings and plenty of space to move around. We took in as many rides as we could but felt hampered by the rain, but luckily there are plenty of areas to shelter, as well as being able to sit in the main dining area in the centre of the park. The weather was better in the afternoon. There were a couple of rides out of action, such as the Cycle Monorail and Dragon Siege, but we managed to experience most of the rest with very little queuing time. Our favourites were Jungle Falls, the very pleasant Jungle River Ride, and the more thrilling Runaway Train and Log Flume – which is where those ponchos came in very handy! We deliberately avoided the soft play areas but had to make use of the smaller area for our baby to get out of the pram, but had to leave the pram out of sight out of the rain. You can get a decent meal there, we settled for burgers and chicken nuggets, but you can get sandwiches or a jacket potato. You can also get a decent coffee and there are places to get ice cream or other treats all over the park. The staff were very nice and you’d likely see the same person operating another ride as they seem to move around. There are a couple of suggestions we’d make to improve the overall experience: - Some sounds or music to accompany the Jungle River Ride would be a very nice addition; - Same for the Gulliver’s Travels the Ride: nice idea but the models were a bit creepy looking - Turning the lights on for the Crazy Mouse wouldn’t hurt, as you can hardly see a thing besides the dim coloured lights; Apart from that, a thoroughly enjoyable full day can be had there – we arrived just after opening time and left just before the park closed 5pm, so a proper full day out. Would have been so much better if the sun was out, but that couldn’t be helped!
