We went to Cardoza Park and took a nice walk. This is a very nice community park with rose gardens, picnic areas, playgrounds, and sports fields. There is a sports facility and swimming pool. Annual Events are held here such as the 4th of July Fireworks.

We often go to Milpitas Public library Its a good library with all types of books, magazines, and so forth to check out. There is a computer center I like it that there are comfortable chairs to sit at when reading. Often times there are events held at the library. There is also a section of the library that is a mini museum with exhibits of the history of Milpitas.

We have been to Milpitas City Hall a number of times. Its a nice city hall with statues and tall trees in front of it. In December they do a nice job of having a Christmas tree lighting celebration. There is also a senior center.

We took a nice mid afternoon drive in August to see again Calaveras Reservoir. The road at times is only one lane so be ware of other traffic. The views of the reservoir are very beautiful. One can often see wildlife such as eagles. deer, wild boar, and more.

I had a wonderful 2 hour trail ride a few days ago. Amazing views looking down and across the bay area. Horse was gentle and I enjoyed talking with my guide. I highly recommend this facility and plan to schedule more rides in the future. Great activity while trying to social distance.
