To get an impression of the 16th century you definitely need to enter this wonderful restaured monument that really gives you the feeling of the past. Inside you will witness the great Dutch period at that time by the architectural structure, ornements and tapistry. It is worth visiting if you are looking for cultural heritage.

... but you are in a small room on top of the tower. The windows won’t open and you can not view around freely. It costs 4 Euros per person. With the price in mind, I would recommend it.

We visited the Zeeuws Museum in August of 2019. They make excellent use of the spaces the have available. I especially love their “Attic Exhibit” where you explored huge packing crates the made me think of what the Dutch East India Company’s factors sent or brought home from the far corners of the world. The exhibit of the magnificent tapestries of the War for Independence and De Riter’s victories over the British in the Dutch-Anglo Wars of the 17th Century. These tapestries are must see when you visit the Netherlands. If you are into fabric artistry you have to visit the Zeeuws Museum in Middleburg, Zeeland, Netherlands!
