Taman Anyar Balinese Experience is ordinary balinese daily life, you will learn how to be balinese people. start from farming process, learn about balinese house and temple, make offering, cooking class, make coconut oil and enjoy lunch with dance performance. the best way to avoid touristic place and start with traditions.
A definite must for anyone visiting Bali. This is one of the trips which my husband and I took during our 11 day stay in Bali and it was by far the best. After visiting the local school and meeting the lovely children, we were welcomed into this traditional Balinese home and were made to feel so at home. What a memorable day!

Ogoh-Ogoh is a wonderful little museum, a store-house really, of beautiful and fantastical creatures. The entry price is low and the staff enjoy talking about the characters represented as well as the parade. Good for kids and adults but it is 30 minutes at most. If you are nearby for the temple do stop in at the museum.

Taman Ayun Temple is a Royal Temple of Mengwi Empire and it is located in Mengwi Village, Mengwi sub district, Badung regency and about 18 Km north side of Denpasar town. It is strategically located beside of major roadway between Denpasar to Singaraja. It is set on the land which is surrounded by the big fish pond and look like a drift on the water
A beautiful example of traditional Balinese architecture with a little Chinese influence. This 17th century temple is 1 of 6 royal temples in Bali, located around 10 miles from north side of Denpasar. The temple features courtyards and enclosures as well as expansive garden landscapes comprising of lotus and fish ponds. It is really beautiful and serene but its not a huge complex, you'll take plenty of pics but you wont need to take too long out of your day.

this beach has so much to offer, besides the ocean...so many places to eat and drink, several local vendors, selling food..the best corn I ever tasted....great service..plenty of cushy, comfortable seating throughout the beach..surfing lessons available for a very reasonable cost...love the fact that the locals celebrate the sunset every evening at this beach...
