A really great experience. About 5 miles down a dirt road. A Church in amazing condition although very spartan in interior design. Nice location for a picnic

Cape Romain Lighthouses

This tour is amazing, I've been on it several times to enjoy the progress of lighthouse stabilization and restoration. Starting with a talk and slide show of the history of the area and the lighthouses, we continue onto a boat excursion through the march (often spotting oyster catchers, dolphin, heron) out to the site. Approaching the lighthouses is a striking site. Off loading from the boat through the marsh to the island itself where you can explore the lighthouses and remains of former structures. There's always a surprise spotting of a new structure foundation, perhaps an owl. Great adventure for families and friends.

This is a classic 19th century country Episcopal church nestled in groves of live oak trees. The architecture is splendid and complimentary to the village of McClellanville. Enjoyed every minute here!

Although off the beaten path, this is a beautiful spot on the Santee River. Live oak arch and fishing dock puts you in the river. Make sure you wear bug spray though!

We camped here for the first time and loved it! Small camping area set up for campers or tents. You can fish off the small pier or put your boat in and go! Excellent location and quiet. Bring bug spray! Knats will be bothersome.
