I would recommend you make this a last or near last stop on the wine trail. Since ports are General ain't much sweeter then regular wines. Every port sampled was delicious and the staff was very accommodating and informative.

Quady Winery is the only California winery to specialize in sweet and aperitif wines. We're known for muscat, moscato, port, sherry, and Vya Vermouth. Recipient of over 1,000 awards and medals and internationally renowned. Producer of Quady Essensia, Quady Elysium, Electra Moscato, Starboard (Port), Palomino Fino (Sherry), Vya Vermouth and more!
As far as winery's in Madera go, Quady is one of the nicest as far as presentations go. Definitely worth the visit. They have a large selection of sweeter wines as well as the normal regimen. Great tasting room and they always participate in the local wine trail events with food and extras.

My Son bought tickets for myself and his Grandmother for Birdstones Mothers Day Brunch. It was a lovely day ! An all you wanted Mimosa bar, VERY generous wine tasting, A glass of wine of your choice for during your meal, and a simple yet tasty Brunch. AND a wonderful duo EL ENCANTO playing beautiful flamenco music all throughout. The owners and all staff were very friendly as well. We hope they repeat next Mothers Day, and we will definitely attend.

Disappointed. My wife and I were excited to try this winery. We had seen a wine list that looked to offer the types of wine we like. But, they don't ship to all states. Their map looks like several states east of the Mississippi are not on their shipping list. Advice: always ask if the winery will ship to your state, unless you plan on carrying your wine home.

It's the Wine Industry’s Best Kept Secret – wineries making award-winning wines just south of Yosemite National Forest. Madera County has a long tradition producing wine and is one of the oldest grape growing regions in America. The Madera Vintners Association was organized in 2001 as a collaborative effort by the area's family winemakers, a group of dedicated individuals whose common purpose is to promote excellence in winemaking and help direct a region rich in potential through a commitment to modern winemaking techniques and sustainable vineyard practices.
This event is an excellent way of sampling a variety of wines directly from the winery. The event is set up to rotate to a variety of different wineries and sample at each. There is some significant driving between some of the wineries. There is...MoreHello, Thank you for your review of the Madera Wine Trail on Trip Advisor. What a sweet and historically correct museum. Love this place and been going since our boy has been 4 and now is 15. We never tire of our time there and average once a year visit. Christmas is spectacular!!! You won't be disappointed and plan on a 1 to 2 hour self guided tour. Docents on site to answer questions.

We have been to the track numerous times and have always had a great time. This is one of the few asphalt tracks left in California and it attracts some of the better drivers in the central valley. The food and drinks are reasonably priced. Bring ear plugs for the kids.

Toca Madera Winery in Madera, CA was founded to share our love of wine making and fine wine. The winery is located on beautiful undulating hills covered with majestic vines.
I was very impressed with their beautiful tasting room. The staff was very warm and welcoming. I enjoyed my tasting in an area out back that had a magnificent view. The person pouring the wine was extremely knowledgable. It was a great experience. I highly recommend stopping here for a tasting and to buy some great wine.

Super impressed with this attraction. We heard the most dreaded words imaginable after an 8 hour drive with a car full of kids when we checked into our hotel... "Sorry, the pool is closed." We were stoked to find this place. Very reasonable price and our kids had a blast jumping and climbing and slack lining for an hour. For the amount of use it gets, it was very clean. The staff were great. And most importantly... my kids were tired after an hour!
