Lynton is a small town on the Exmoor coast in Devon, England standing on top of the cliffs above the picturesque harbour village of Lynmouth, to which it is connected by the Lynton and Lynmouth Cliff Railway. Lynton was once the terminus for the narrow-gauge Lynton & Barnstaple Railway, which served both towns.

A classic easy 2.5 mile circular walk along a relatively level section of the South West Coast Path between Lynton and the spectacular Valley of Rocks. As well as the stunning scenery, the Valley of Rocks are home to a herd of feral goats and the rare Exmoor pony.

Inspiring art gallery full of colourful paintings, ceramics, glass and homeware items from a range of local artists. You can also watch artist-owner at work.

Visited Brendan Manor as a group of four. We went on the pub ride which was an excellent day out. Charlie and Lara came out with us and made sure we had a great time with plenty of cantering, seeing beautiful scenery and even came across some Exmoor ponies. They were also lovely to talk to. Can’t wait to return!

Very friendly and welcoming family! There were 5 of us including our 6year old girl. They were extremely accommodating and the horses were very well behaved. Lovely views and a fab experience !! Jim and Katie were so friendly! Would highly recommended

Did this walk yesterday in the wind and rain and was totally wowed by the walk up through the trees and the views from the top especially once we got to the Valley of the Rocks. Wow!

It is a cooperative sales point for 50-60 local North Devon crafts people. We spent quite a bit of time there and would thoroughly recommend.
This place a a real treat if you love buying locally made arts, crafts, jams, jewellery and lots more. There is quite literally something for everyone and it’s all made in Exmoor or North Devon. Another great place to shop when visiting Lynton & Lynmouth.

The community bookshop is saturated on the right hand side of the building as you look at it.
