We made a trip here to purchase a birthday gift for my wife. We got her one of the clay bells that are so beautiful and sound great. The owner was so friendly and helpful. We even got a good start on some early Christmas shopping. They offer classes also. Many great things to select from. We'll be back!

Family-owned year-round Agritourism attraction. The 2000 lavender plants cover 2-acres and bloom to varying degrees from March-November. Sit at a picnic table under the huge old Live Oak tree and relax with a Lavender Soda and cookies. The unique store, built largely of shipping containers, is filled with fragrant soaps lotions, and every imaginable lavender product, as well as local art.

We usually spend Thanksgiving in Luling with our family. One of our holiday traditions is to walk to the Zedler Mill. It's a beautiful, peaceful area right on the river. You can access a historical audio tour on your cell phone, and there is plenty of signage as well to describe the history of the mill. Not only is the setting lovely, there is also a really nice pavilion (our cousin helped build it) for gatherings and events. Our aunt's 90th birthday party was held there several years ago. Zedler Mill is a wonderful place for a picnic and a few moments of peace. It's not far at all from I-10, so it makes a great stop for travelers who want a little break from the interstate. I don't know all the details, but you can also rent a canoe in the area and navigate the river. I'm looking forward to our Thanksgiving walk to Zedler Mill in a few weeks!
