My wife and I enjoyed a wine tasting after a nearby hike. We had a sunny afternoon and enjoyed wine on the patio. We took a bottle of Southern Belle to-go.

Very nice and helpful staff. This canoe livery takes you up river, then you end up at you car so you dont have to wait on a bus to take you back to your car.

Take a trip back in time to the 1830's as yo embark on a one hour guided haunted history tour of Heyd cemetery. Learn about the early pioneers of the castle property and the mischievous things they do to the current visitors. Mohican Gardens offers the perfect backdrop for weddings and receptions during the summer and fall. Located on the historic John Garst Farm, the barn and original farmhouse are listed on the National Registry of Historic Places. A retail greenhouse offers flowers, vegetables, and small fruit plants during the spring selling season. The 2-1/2 acre spring-fed lake is surrounded by meandering garden paths. Because of the seasonal nature of the Gardens, we recommend calling ahead prior to visiting. During the spring season, the greenhouse is open Monday-Saturday 9:00-5:00. Extended hours apply during peak season (mid-May to early June).
