I'm Javi a Chilean living in Lansdale a suburb of Philadelphia. I love sharing how to bake breads and different foods with the goal to go back to the basics, join us together around a table and bring back the craft to life!

Merrymead is a favorite place to visit any time of year, but it's a great ice cream visit on a summer afternoon. Lots of varieities of delicious fresh ice cream, quick service and and interesting shop for sweets and Pennsylvania Dutch type canned and baked goods. They sell larger take home quantities of ice cream for big celebrations too. I also love their ever changing outdoor garden items that vary with the season, like their pumpkins and decor shop in autumn.

Someone told me about this intriguing place and my cousin and I had to visit. We never knew this place existed. Fascinating that there is a log house in this area that has been preserved with so much history. Our tour guide Kristi was so informative and explained all the history surrounding the log house that we cannot wait to come back again. The grounds are well kept and we enjoyed hearing the history of this log cabin.

Round Guys Brewing is one of the best breweries in the area. Great beers, a fabulous selection of IPAs and stouts to tickle your fancy, (and they have those all year round.) The round guys working at Round Guys are personable and fun to talk to. Outdoor seating for those of you still iffy in this time of COVID19. Highly recommend. And please don't eat all the mini-chimichangas because they're mine.????????????????
