The path with our sight is payment area (free for our overnight staying guests). We offer overnight stay packages with sled trips, polar dog handler experiences, northern light gazing, arctic wildlife tracking, bird watching, and so much more.

What a magical experience to stay at Wild Caribou at their dome tent! The bed is amazing comfortable, and the dome is very delicatly decorated. To sit and enjoy the beautiful nature and relax was so tranquil and amazing. We had such a good time meeting the dogs, cuddeling and even feeding them! Will definetly come back in wintertime to go sleeding. The stay was completed by a delicate and tasty breakfast in the dome the next morning, with lots of good food and even fresh eggs from their own chickens.

Arctic Ilo is a small Family run business that provides authentic tailormade packages and trips winter and summer. We would recomend a King Crab Safari as a good Activity in the Porsanger region. We provide high quality accomodation and private fishing a long side river Lakselva and river Veidneselva.

Porsanger municipality is in the very centre of Norwegian Lapland, stretching from the Finnmark mountain plain in the south, via fertile river valleys and the Porsangerfjord, to the Arctic Ocean in the north. This municipality has thousands of lakes teeming with fish and wonderful salmon fishing rivers. A trip through Porsanger is also a journey through a diverse culture and history. Lakselv, the municipal centre, has an excellent range of services, with shops, cafes and restaurants. Lakselv Airport Banak is only 1.5 km from the town centre, and is the central charter and cargo airport for Norwegian Lapland.

This place is something really special! Located 7-8 km from the Roald between Lakselv and Indre Billefjord. You can drive to a parking 5 km from the main road, but the last 20-30 minutes you have to walk. It is a narrow path that is not very crowded, so there is plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful scenery. Trollholmsund is at the edge of the ocean, where "trolls" made of dolomite rocks made 700 million years ago now reign over this coastal strip! This area is now connected to an adventure from ancient times. Here you can Aldo find the rare Rhododendron "Lapprose".
