Visited this place, the woods around this area are lovely and with a 10 min walk you can get some fantastic landscape pictures. The air is lovely too, nice change from Skopje. Highly recommended.

Krushevo is one of few remaining locations in Macedonia where the visitors can get close insight of the craft traditions which date back from the times when the city was becoming important trading hub in the 18th and 19th century. The barrel maker is the last crafts men of Krushevo will demonstrate their old style work routines during this one of a kind day trip around the city's narrow cobblestone.

The church of Bogorodica (St. Mary the Virgin) is located high in the upper town, near the old Nikola Karev school and the Historic Museum. It was built in 1867 and, hence, is the second oldest church after Sv. Nikola (which dates from 1832). From the hill side behind the church, you have a beautiful view over the city.

The Church "Holy Trinity" was built in 1881 in the periphery of the town near the hotel Montana in the "Roma neighbourhood". The church was burnt down during the Ilinden Uprising and soon after it was built again.
