Most of this limestone island is a protected marine reserve… which means you’ll enjoy unspoiled beaches, as well as fantastic diving and snorkeling. Several local dive shops get great reviews from our travelers. When you’re back on dry land, chill out even more with a session of yoga on the beach.

Simply beautiful island, While snorkeling saw clownfish (think Nemo!) swam with Sharks, sea turtles and a myriad of tropical fish. Walked along some stunning beaches. Got climbed on by Monkeys... so much to do in one day. Your experience will be impacted by your choice of tour operator. We (family & I) booked through Mr Chet Longtail Boat Trips and couldn't recommend him highly enough. You can message him and book through Facebook. Half the price of our resort-offered trip, but a longer trip with more time at more places, great deckie (Don) who was knowledgeable, helpful and funny as hell! Plus, the way our itinerary was laid out we got to places before the crowds meaning we saw more - and we saw a LOT! Truly fantastic day.

Great beach, nice view, full of long tail boats. Clear shiny water, relaxing atmosphere. maybe a bit dirty because of tourists but naturally beautiful!

This is a MUST for anyone visiting Phi Phi, the views are breathtaking. We were unaware of the vast amount of steep steps that were part of the route to the viewpoint, make sure you have water with you as it is a tiring climb! It is 100% worth it though, we arrived just before sunset so got to see the sun set which was brilliant. It was busy up there, but there is a lot of space so you are able to get uninterrupted photos. A must see!

It’s really possible to get here not only by taxi boat ( very expensive) but walking from Lala bay. 20 min walk but you should get through water ( if sea is low) and some climbing through a jungle. If you like adventures and a bit athletic take proper shoes and go ahead! Local people showed us the way- otherwise we probably didn’t find it.

(Koh Yung in Thai) is the northeasternmost island in the Phi Phi group. Lying some 2.5km off Koh Phi Phi Don’s northern tip, it has a bent nail-like shape (when viewed from above) . As with five of the six islands that form the island . The eastern side of Mosquito Island hosts two beaches which are rarely visited. This is mostly because the island owes its name to the legion of mosquitos that show up around sunset, making it rather uncomfortable for those wanting a romantic candle-lit dinner on the beach.

Monkey Beach is a great stop when you book a boat trip. Please be careful they really bite. Mama monkey is always caring about the kid monkeys and if she feel that the kid monkey is under pressure she bite immediatly
