The former royal palace of Tirtagangga (which means water of the Ganges, Hinduism's holy river) features tiered fountains, gardens, and stone sculptures of mythical creatures spouting water into bathing pools. Just outside the palace grounds, the views of the lush rice paddies of northeastern Bali are stunning.
One of our day trips to this beautiful place, lovely gardens to walk around with family or as a couple, A lot of history in the place and you would need a good couple of hours to go round the gardens, there is a restaurant on the premises and not badly priced and good food, take a bottle of cold water with you as it does get hot walking around, Would I go back? YES and I would recommend it

Jemeluk Bay is incredible. There is amazing coral within a few meters of the beach - just walk in and start snorkelling. Lots of tropical fish. You do not need a boat so you decide when you go and finish. Re Since the beach is volcanic - black sand and lots of pebbles - recommend wear river shoes to protect the feet. Make sure you see the underwater temple, marked by a yellow flag

Located very close to the shore, this its a fantastic dive site for divers of any ability. The site has amazing history. There are plenty of places nearby to hire gear if you need to. You do need to pay a small fee for parking but it is well worth it.

To get to these steps you go through a temple so you need a sarong to cover your legs. It's a slog to get to the top but worth it. Great views over the lotus pond and out to sea

The best view picture from Lempuyang Temple. From Lempuyang Temple we can enjoyed the view for Mount Agung
Hire Bali Driver “Madeé” Made it happen again. He picked us up at 7am from our hotel “bliss spa Ubud “ and arrived at this destination by 9am. The temples of Mount Lempuyang, represented by the highest pura at the peak of Mount Lempuyang, Pura Lempuyang Luhur, is one of the Sad Kahyangan Jagad, or the "six sanctuaries of the world", the six holiest places of worship on Bali. Remember to bring a sarong and ladies shoulders should be covered. A must see and experience.

When the main drag of Candidasa gets too loud and busy, you can simply walk down a few steps and go to the quiet oasis of the lagoon. A short and easy stroll to walk around can be made longer by admiring the lotus - the flowers open in their full glory in the morning and close off when the heat gets too much. You can also do a side tour to the beach from here or walk across the street to the temple - if you feel up to walking all the steps.
