Quiet little place to tour, and have some individual prayer time. This is a nice location for a family reunion, or a wedding. Well maintained buildings and grounds.

Our train, is a traveling history museum with passenger cars that are 92 years old. Stepping back in time, we want you to make some memories as we travel along the tracks. The Iron Mountain is the only train we know of that is run entirely by trained volunteers. Every person you meet is a person who volunteers their personal time to make sure we share a part of history with you. We want our passengers to have a good time, and we work very hard to make that happen. There are lots of activities going on during our excursions. Trains robberies, treasure hunts, music, dinosaurs---you just never know who will show up for the ride. But we guarantee it won't be ordinary.

Gain a better understanding of one of the saddest chapters in American history at Trail of Tears State Park, where nine of the 13 Cherokee Indian groups being relocated to Oklahoma crossed the Mississippi River during harsh winter conditions in 1838 and 1839. The park’s visitor center tells the tale of the thousands who died on the forced march, as well as the park’s many natural features. The park also has a cheerier side: shaded picnic sites, hiking and horse trails, opportunities to fish in both the Mississippi River and Lake Boutin, and majestic views of the Mississippi River and beyond.
Did some mid week camping at the Lake Campground... Sites were well laid out. The campground host was wonderful.(thanks!).. Taking time to make sure I had everything I needed and told me about the park. The host is staying at the river campground and is at the current time hosting both campgrounds in the park... Nice trails to hike with abundant deer and other wildlife. Bathrooms and shower house were pristinely cleaned. No worries there. Nice little lake with a sandy beach. For some relaxing fun this is the place.
