Stretching 7,030 yards, this par 71 golf course features Tif Eagle greens and 62 Kosse white sand bunkers.
My daughter and her husband did excellent research and we all determined this was the best for us. The outside wedding with the gorgeous hills, fountains, and flowers was spectacular.
Samantha Fulford is the wedding site coordinator and could not have done more to be sure everything went well. The staff was "all hands on deck" and the chef provided a totally delicious beef roast and Norwegian salmon.
The vendors we selected from their recommendations were excellent. I only wish more beautiful and happy events for anyone selecting this venue.

Big fan of Lake pflugerville. Great beach area. Docks for fishing. Kayaking areas.
Plenty of room to spread out and still have privacy. Although the parking is very limited. They have Clean bathrooms! We set up camp early and spend the day out there until the park closes at 10. Lake Has a wonderful walking track around the entire lake. Good place to pokemon if you enjoy that. There is an amazing playground that makes me wish i was a kid. Covered tables are also available. There is a stand to rent kayaks to take out on the lake. I recommend you give it a shot! Its a gem in Pflugerville!

Attended Production of You can't do that Dan Moody in the Court house. I was one of the unfortunates that had to sit in the balcony. Totally unacceptable. The safety railing cuts off the actors faces, so you only see their legs, unless you slouch down in your seat & peer between the rails. Sound was also bad up there. I suggest that tickets only be sold for downstairs, as upstairs setting at $30.00 a ticket is a rip off. I also suggest that it is made clear on their website that balcony seating is mostly obstructed. Otherwise, it's a great historical play & would be enjoyable if you could see it.

Relatively new brewery and is was amazing at how much nicer their tap room is over .ROmany in Austin. Some impressive metal work to add to the decor along with nice art on the walls make this a stand-out.
Along with their own beers on tap they also source other local brews. I was pleased to find Pinthouse Pizza Double IPA on tap here. Only two of their own beers were on tap but the stout was really nice as was the IPA. Their own beers are only $4-$4.50 (this should be standard price for all in-house taps).
The have a stage and live music on weekends. The staff was friendly and we even left with two shirts liking their logo. Even the restrooms were really nice. We'll be back with friends soon.
They do stock a variety of games or for those wanting to let their competitive side come out. A nice ping pong table as well so good for kids. Plenty of TVs for watching sports.
They did have Davis bbq being sold while we were there. 2 star rating due to high rubber content of the brisket sandwich. Pales in comparison what you can find in Taylor Cafe or Mueller's (top shelf!).

This is a perfect destination when traveling in the Austin and Round Rock area. Even locals should go. Perfect for families with good walkways and lighting through the caverns and a play and picnic area with live animals outside. The caverns are beautiful and very different from the caves on the East Coast I've been to. The tours have three levels. We went on the first with included an hour and 1/2 fairly easy walk. Some hills coming out so minimal health and energy needed. Enough lighting not to be scary for young kids. Even well traveled people like my husband and myself were in awe of the beauty of the limestone formations. They guide was knowledgeable and patient for picture takers.
There were also two other levels of tours, one with flashlights in smaller spaces and another 3 - 4 hour exploration tour.
Fantastic and worth going. Also worth the entrance fee.

Visited the Howard Theater to view The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 while in Taylor visiting family. I really enjoyed the experience. The theater has that "old school" charm, and the ticket prices are very fair. Concession prices are reasonable as well. The 2 employees that were working were very friendly and inviting.

We live in Pflugerville, but the previous management had kept us away. Typhoon Texas has made some great changes to the place. It is super family-friendly. It is clean and has something for all ages, from the kiddie section to multiple lie around and relax areas. The slides were a ton of fun, plus we enjoyed the wave pool and shallow obstacle course pool. We took advantage of the twilight prices. Go after 4 pm and prices are slashed. This place seems to hardly ever be crowded, which is a definite plus - short wait lines! The staff are very friendly, and there are lifeguards everywhere. I highly recommend Typhoon Texas! We will definitely be back.

The north and south branches of the San Gabriel River come together just to the northwest of downtown Georgetown. There is a wonderful cement trail that starts in San Gabriel park and meanders along the bank of this beautiful river. The trail has distance markers so if you are looking for a place to exercise as well as explore, you will be able to measure your distances. The park also has a frisbee golf course, playscapes, bathrooms, picnic areas (most covered), grills and huge beautiful trees as well as a sunken flower garden
