The tour we took here was the highlight of our trip. The animals seem well cared for and the tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. We were in a group of around 15 - 20 people and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves, especially the kids. It was a rare opportunity to get a close-up look at some of the most beautiful animals in the world.

This is a great sea turtle rescue and conservation organization. They have a turtle hospital, viewing tanks, interactive exhibit hall, gift store and more. Public educational programs for guests of all ages are offered daily. During sea turtle nesting season (June & July), you can take a guided walk to watch the nesting turtles up close.
I had mixed feelings visiting the turtles. These are magnificent creatures That you can get close to and see their size. Sadness that our wildlife is hurt By us humans. Propeller injuries, fishing line tangled around limbs, fishing Hooks stuck in flesh leaving these creatures...MoreThank you so much for the support!

No wonder this museum is located in this Florida city as the USA Navy Seals do their training here. Your approximately 2 hours or more touring this property is well worth it. It will give you a good knowledge and overview of this specialized fighting unit. Inside the museum gives an in depth history and all of the major conflicts that the USA has been in since World War 2. All of the displays are real and well researched. Once you are outside than you can see different pieces of equipment that have been used in war theaters. Once this is done, if you are physically fit than you may want to do the "o" course. However you must sign a waiver inside the museum as this is the same course Navy Seals run thru for physical fitness purposes. They have a well stocked gift shop with reasonable prices. In the parking lot I noted licence plates from all over the USA. Museum was really busy today as families were on March break with their kids. I understand that the summer time is their quiet time for this museum. In my personal opinion, worth the five rating here on what you pay to get in and learn in return for your money on what you learn here!

It is a place for quiet strolls, family picnics, music venue, or a birthday party. There is a fishing pier for those fishing enthusiasts or just a look out at the river. Picnic tables are available for families or groups. Benches are placed throughout the park to allow visitors to sit and enjoy the scenery.

What a lovely little animal sanctuary. Well maintained and staffed. The bears, bobcats and panthers were especially interesting. Also a lot of birds and some nice natural areas to wander thru. This is a donation only facility and one that everyone should support.

I spent the day strolling around Stuart while my husband attended a meeting. Loved the town and the riverwalk is beautiful. Just one block off downtown with plenty of free parking near by PLUS a free shuttle. Restaurants near by as well. It was a great place to spend the afternoon and one I'll return to.

Even though we didn’t time our visit with high tide to see the water blowing up through the coquina rock formations, we loved our time here. Walking through the “jungle canopy” from parking lot to ocean was an unexpected bonus. You immediately forget the cares and concerns you may have come with. Once you get to the end of the boardwalk and see the ocean a short walk south takes you to exquisite coquina formations. It’s a great spot for unusual beach pictures. At low tide you appreciate the height of the cliffs, and at high tide you see the beauty of the water spouting up as though through blowholes. So it’s a win no matter what time of day you visit.
We combined our visit here with lunch at Teapot and Treasures in Juno Beach, followed by a stop at the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse, before our stop here. A lovely day.

Formerly named Thomas J. White Stadium, the Tradition Field is the home of the New York Mets during Spring Training.
There's two sides of the stadium to enter for parking. Choose the East side for easier parking access.
There are two ramps on either side to enter the stadium. It doesn't matter which you use.
The food prices are cheaper here. $9.50 for a cheeseburger, it comes with a full basket of Nathan's French fries. They sell kinshes. (You'll feel like your back in NYC)

A friend invited me to a night of comedy at the theater. Nice atmosphere, lots of parking, beautiful setting and friendly people. Drinks were somewhat pedestrian with a limited offering but adequate. I have been to the grounds for boat and car shows previously, stunning location and close to all things Vero.

Reservations accepted the working day after Memorial Day. Groups limited to 25 people.
The park itself is well-described by other reviewers. I highly recommend that you stop by the Visitor Center when you visit. It is small, but includes thorough coverage of the local natural history and exhibits of live fish, snakes and sea turtles. I was especially appreciative of the descriptions of the three species of mangroves ... I tend to forget how to identify them between visits to the area. There was also an interesting art exhibit when we were there - sculptures and paintings of local species and habitats.
