We have a 3 year old American Brittany that loves to walk with us around the lake. The parks is immaculate and very dog friendly. We good there each week after we attend the Holly Springs farmers market. A great way to spend Saturday morning.

The place at the back of the hangar is really nice. You can play some games while enjoying a pint. People are very friendly. We tasted different types of beer and took a tour. Have to say though, beer was just OK. It felt this place was more business oriented with less love of a beer. In my opinion there are better local breweries.

This park has something for everyone. Has paved walking trail for those that want a leisure walk and for those that want more, you can take the trail around the lake or connect up to one of Cary's greenways.. Great place to walk your dogs as well.

This was our first time visiting Holly Springs and Bombshell Beer Company. Nice brewery inside, very friendly and knowledgeable staff, reasonable tasting prices. Dog Friendly inside! Great place to try some local beer, meet friends, and hang out.

Always loved this park. Interesting to see all the hemlocks. Various levels are well maintained with accessiblity through stairs, boardwalks. Offers several options in how far you might want to walk. Good for dogs but take your bags.

Harris Lake is a Wake County Park in New Hill, just south of Apex. The 680-acre park is located on a peninsula in Harris Lake, the reservoir for Shearon Harris Nuclear Power Plant. The park features hiking trails, mountain biking trails, a disc golf course, boat launch, picnic tables, and a primitive group camping site. The Peninsula Trail is a 4.5 mile loop that runs along the perimeter of the peninsula. Several connector loops allow for shorter loop hikes. The trail is very flat so the hiking is appropriate for all skill levels. There are great views of the lake from the trail as well as a chance to hike by some historical sites from before the lake was constructed. Hiking along the west side of the peninsula, you'll see the cooling tower for the nuclear power plant for much of the hike. There are three mountain biking trails for beginner, intermediate, and advanced skill levels. A boat launch is available for car-top boats only to paddle around the lake.

We came here and rode our bikes for just a few miles. We cant wait to come back and ride again. This is a historical place which was once a large tobacco growing area. There was a train which the tobacco companies had put in snd used to transport their product. The train no longer runs but the old track area is great for hiking , jogging, bike riding, etc.

A very small place off the beaten track but with great beers. YOU have to be prepared to make the atmosphere, I personally would not venture here alone) but a good group makes all the difference. One let down is there are no food trucks that visit (mainly because the place is not busy enough) but Holly Springs retail park is close so you can eat first (plenty of places) and take the stroll to Company.
Well worth a drop in if your passing by or a cyclist, some great routes very near by.

Koka Booth is where Cary Diwali is celebrated every year. The sprawling facility caters to the needs of the large number of people who attend Cary Diwali everyone. The acoustics of the place, for an open air amphitheater, is amazing. Sufficient parking, beautiful walk through the "woods" from parking to the theater, the pond, the walking trail, everything comes together to provide a great experience.
Open air movie screenings with family cuddled up on the lawn with a blanket and food, is an experience that cannot be missed.
