Home to over 500 rare and endangered animals from all over the world representing 56 species. We have camels, kangaroos, lemurs, buffalo, omnivores, deer and we are home to many rescued large reptiles and tropical birds too! We have just added some cats to our park including Caracals and Servals. There is plenty to see in our 4 mile drive thru and petting zoo with walk thru area too! Come during one of our bottle feeding times and you will get to help our zookeepers bottle feed baby animals! Newly added this past summer we opened a new wing to the Walk Thru to include a Ring-tailed Lemur Exhibit, an American Alligator Pool and the Prarie Dog Town! Open everyday, year-round! Have a bigger family? Promised Land ZOO now offers a special Family Rate that will allow you to bring all the kids you want at a discounted rate (see our website for details).
Place was amazing. Upfront and personal with many playful animals. Took the private tour and was well worth the time and expense. The zoo was an adult petting zoo on steroids and would highly recommend the Promised Land Zoo as a must visit. Tour guide was extremely friendly and knowledgeable.

This chapel won an architecture award in 1980.
What a beautiful place located in the woods with architecture that is amazing. Very peaceful and relaxing to stop and see...well worth the trip out to see this chapel if you are in the area.

Not much to say about this one; it's an old, one-lane suspension bridge. Pretty cool to drive over as part of a Highway 62 to 187 to 23 loop that connects Eureka Springs and Beaver. Very pretty drive.

Fight trophy trout in one of the most breathtaking settings imaginable at Roaring River State Park. The park contains one of the premier trout fisheries in the nation, stocked each night. The natural setting – towering hills above a deep blue spring -- provides a scenic backdrop to adventures. Seven trails cut through the parks rugged terrain, and lodging options from campsites to cabins make Roaring River a place to experience a unique slice of Missouri.
This is a beautiful spot in SW Missouri where a spring feeds water from the mouth of a cave into a trout hatchery. The trout are raised there then distributed in local streams and rivers, including the river formed by the spring. This forms the Roaring River state park. This spring and summer we had lots of water, but the park crew has worked extra hard to make it usable at almost any time. Friendly folks and lots of kids enjoying themselves in the cool....no COLD water.

Beautiful church, enter area from the bell tower. Interesting history of building and grounds. Easy parking on the backside of the Crescent, must be able to walk up/down a few steps in a few areas, most of walkway is ramped. Definitely worth a visit.

When in Eureka Springs, travel back to the Victorian age and experience an evening of Mystery & Intrigue performed by an Illusionist & a Medium Featuring Special Guests from the other side! Now in it’s THIRD SEASON Intrigue Theater is a Live Theatrical show and one of the top rated attractions in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.
We went to a show on Nov. 4... It was an illusion and "ghost talker" show... This show is run by a guy and his blonde assistant and a couple of young kids... The illusion part was really good. The guy is decent. They need to watch their lighting as it is a small stage in an ole church. We were setting on the outside and you could see the angles when ruined the illusions. Pretty typical stuff. They showed a clip of their time on Penn and Teller. Wish they would have done the monkey act on the video.
You will be sitting in rows in straight backed old chairs that are not the best.
The second part featured a ghost talker... what a crock of crap... lol
I picked up 3 of the cameras they had hidden plus the host was wearing a camera too... I guess people do not know the capability of modern bluetooth cameras...
I would not go back to this show. If he did a magic show and just did illusions I might go back... The ignorance of people today amazes me

Loved the springs, although it was a bit hard to find them, even with a map. Would caution anyone with walking issues that walking is hard on uneven sidewalks.

Built in 1967, this 7-story memorial statue of Jesus is on the grounds of The Great Passion Play and overlooks Eureka Springs, Arkansas.
Well worth your time to go to visit the Christ of the Ozarks. Take the time to read the history and details about the construction of the statue. Also take some time to walk around the area, the view is beautiful and it is free.

Nothing much to see. Told this was a good rock collecting site, however there was no place to pull off the highway to get a look at the shore.
