Heber City is a city in Wasatch County, Utah, United States. Heber City was founded by English immigrants who were members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the late 1850s, and is named after the Mormon apostle Heber C. Kimball. It is the county seat of Wasatch County. The original Heber City town square is located on the west side of Main Street between Center Street and 100 North and currently houses city offices as well as the historic Wasatch Stake Tabernacle and Heber Amusement Hall. The city was largely pastoral, focusing largely on dairy farms and cattle ranching, and has since become a bedroom community for Orem, Provo, Park City and Salt Lake City.

Winter horseback riding is an activity I had been yearning to do for many years (I have a lot of horseback centric goals, oddly).
I am so thrilled to say that when I was able to finally get this checked off my bucket list, the experience was nothing short of perfect.
First thing I always keep an eye out for when animals are involved— are they well cared for?
I can say that Rocky Mountain outfitters absolutely takes care of their horses. They are well fed, well trained, and just so affectionate! I have never had horses crowd around me just to snuggle and get kisses— it was just so sweet I could cry!
Now for the actual review of the activity:
I signed my boyfriend and myself up for the one hour trail. (Seeing as we are Los Angeles dwellers , I feared that we might not be tough enough to withstand the cold of the 2 hour ride) However, I wish I had booked us for the 2 hour option when our 1 hour was up and I didn’t want to say goodbye to my horse or the visually stunning landscape of soldier hollow. The sights were so breathtaking and our guide went just the right pace. The activity started on time and our guide was very hospitable. We were in a group of 6, but we didn’t mind. Next time I might sign us up for the private ride, though =]

Providing others with a memorable experience is at the heart of Heber Valley Artisan Cheese, a small family dairy farm and creamery nestled in the quaint community of Midway, Utah. For nearly 100 years the Kohler family has been producing premium milk – pure, rich & creamy – to delight their consumers. In 2011, the family built a new creamery and began using their farm’s milk to handcraft and age artisan cheese. Today, visitors can stop by the farm store to sample fresh cheese & handcrafted fudge daily; purchase raw milk, fresh & aged cheeses, handcrafted jam, fudge, cookies and candy. Or grab some famous Aggie Ice Cream, a fresh grilled cheese sandwich or a nice bowl of soup - and enjoy it in our store or on the patio.
The Juustoleipa Cheese was a sumptuous hot treat and the ice cream was a delightful cold treat! Lots of good choices!

Enjoyed the warm swim. Can snorkle, but not at night. They also have diving. So clean and relaxing. Next day the joints felt great from the mineral water. Great after a day of skiing!

Scenic outdoor area located between Park City and Sundance offers hiking trails, golf courses and fishing venues.
This valley is exceptionally beautiful. I know many people feel the same way, since this valley is growing extremely fast. It has many new restaurants, hotels, and services. It is close to skiing, golfing, fishing, and camping.

A beautiful mountain range.
After playing Wasatch Mountain State Park in Midway, we traveled back to the Salt Lake valley by way of Pine Canyon Drive to Guardsmen Pass and then down into Big Cotton Wood Canyon near Brighton ski area. Pine Canyon Drive starts just north of the golf course. This was a great way to see the fall foliage in the Wasatch mountains. The first half of the drive is probably best driven in a SUV. From Guardsmen Pass to Big Cotton Wood Canyon the road can be traversed in any automobile. This road is closed in winter.

Love going with family and friends to Soldier Hollow tubing hill. Probably the best tubing I have ever experienced. I have gone both during the day and evening and evening is my favorite.
Mountain conditions are always changing. This season has not been the best compared to previous ventures. If you are looking for a fun time with kids or grand kids, we recommend this Midway adventure!

A steam passenger railroad from 1899 that offers special theme events during the year.
We took our toddlers on the christmas train ride tonight and they loved every minute of it. Yes, the ride can get a little tedious and long for adults. But the two-year olds loved the songs, seeing animals out the window, dancing, getting their tickets stamped and of course meeting santa clause!
Here are a few details I wish we'd known before:
- Our 5pm left the station at 5:11, so you can be a little late but not super late
- They served everyone one cup of hot chocolate and one cookie included in the normal fare
- There were no concessions sold on the train - bring your own water/snacks
- Some kids were wearing christmas PJs or santa hats which was really cute, made me wish I had put mine in PJs
- They hand out nametags so Santa can call the child by name, but the Santa we had didn't use the kids names so didn't matter
Overall it was definitely worth the money for us as the kids had a GREAT time. The elementary-age kids on the train seemed to be having a lot of fun as well.

Six of us rented snowmobiles for the 2 hour tour, and get this we didn't get marooned on a desert island, we had a wonderful time the tour guide was fantastic and very knowledgeable about the area, the tour took us to about 8800 feet on trails not just the roadway their were 2 places we stopped in open areas so we could really enjoy the snowmobiles and change drivers.

AQUA x ZONE is a thrilling water park for young and old alike. Come climb, jump, slide and swim along the inflatable obstacles that float atop the reservoir. Kids must be 6 years old and 48" tall. We are located at the Jordanelle State Park, near Heber City, Utah. The park is composed of multiple inflatable obstacles tethered together above the lake. We invite you to run, jump, swim and play at the AQUA x ZONE... the fun starts here! We will be opening the 2017 season on Saturday, June 17th, 2017!
It's awesome if there are under 20 people there .however we found out the hard way that the max limit is 75 people. There were lines to do all the ropes and obstacles. Such a bummer

Hubby & I played here Aug, 2nd, 2016 during our trip to the Pacific Northwest. We seek out mountain courses is why we decided to play here. We're both advanced golfers and play f/ the men's regular tees.
The rates were so affordable even with renting clubs. We decided to play later in the day to avoid the crowd... and it was crowded. Apparently, a very popular club. They do let fivesomes play.
About the club, the staff is friendly; they checked us in w/ ease. The whole atmosphere was friendly. It was clean and seemed to have a pretty good stock of items to purchase.
The course is beautiful! We were not disappointed, and would have played a 2nd round had it not been so crowded. Lots of elevated tees, and nice greens that hold the ball. It was very well manicured... even the rough. Beautiful views of the mountains! We highly recommend the Mountain course. We did not play the Lake course; it was even busier.
Timing is everything! After finishing our round, I mentioned to one of the players that was ahead of us that they really played fast for a 5some. I found out that we were behind the group that included Mike Dobbyn, (see pic) who holds the world record for the longest drive of 551 yards.
The group also included another long drive champ and a PGA pro, whose names I didn't get. So, keep ur eyes open. You never know who you might run into :-D
