Elephant Whispers is an absolute must to visit. You will never forget it. It is next door to Hippo Hollow Hotel which is superb to stay at.. Transfers can be arranged to go there..An encounter with the elephants is an amazing experience, such a profound effect.. You learn about the elephants body, and much more, hands on experience with them, and walk or ride even lunch if you wish. The handlers are amazing and they clearly love their handlers and visa versa. Very well looked after.. I highly recommend to visit this Sanctuary..Make sure you see Peaches the little dog there and Lucky as well, they smile.

Elephant Sanctuary close to the Kruger National Park. Home to two orphaned African elephant bulls, Kasper and Kitso. Host four fully guided elephant interaction programs per day and some programs that can be added to them. Focus on a more personal and private elephant experience with smaller groups of guests. Perfect stop over when visiting the Kruger National Park or Lowveld.
What an experience to touch, feed and take a full grown African elephant for a walk is an amazing experience and then for it to give me a kiss on my head. I would not have missed this for the world. If you love elephants this is not to be missed.

Get up close and personal with some of South Africa and the worlds most venomous snakes! Large constrictors, lizards, tortoises, spiders, frogs and crocodilians on display, all set amongst lush tropical gardens. A great outing for everyone, combining education and information with fun - don't miss our incredibly informative demonstrations at 11 and 3 daily, and crocodile feeding on Sundays at 2 (seasonal and weather dependent. We are so lucky to be situated centrally, with restaurants (including Spur, Kuka and Topoplinos) and a kiddies playground all within the same centre, Skyway trails right next door, and two Elephant Sanctuaries within 10km! We are also in easy reach of Sudwala Caves and the Panorama Route, and partner with Induna Adventures, Sudwala Caves, Mafunyane water park and Chimp Eden to offer you great discounts.
I have been to a few reptile parks and this park is one of the best . The staff is helpful and friendly, the variety of reptiles is big and the snake handler is very good and informative. Definitely worth a visit.

Our last Kruger visit before flying back to Australia, and we thought we were early getting there at 6:20am... this is a popular gate, opening at 6am in September, it took approximately 40 minutes to get through the gate, get our visitor passes and go through security - either get there earlier or after queued early birds (possibly 7:30am). We saw at the day visitor area that there had been sightings of leopard, lion, elephant, water buffalo and rhino... We went in search of elephants and we were not disappointed - herds heading to the water, herds drinking and cooling down in the water, herds eating. It was hard to leave, seeing these beautiful creatures in the wild was on the bucket list, though the bucket keeps filling up with more elephant experiences!
