It is a huge sarovar which means a water body. It gives a description of the mahabharata fight on the pillars of the sarovar. There is a huge bronze chariot where lord Krishna is giving gita gyan to arjuna and this has been installed at the middle of the sarovar and this is simply magnificent. Along the bronze chariot there are various temples of god and goddess. As I went on a amavasya day, it is customary to have a dip at the sarovar to get rid of your sins. Pl go in the evening or early morning as it becomes very difficult to walk in the hot season. Except for the bronze chariot and the huge water body there is nothing much to see there. The govt should have battery cars to enable people to go around the sarovar as it takes nearly one to two hours on foot. This is the most prominent place to see at kurukshetra after shri devikoop bhadrakali temple which is a shaktipeeth.

Gurudwara Nada Sahib, a Sikh Temple, situated on the banks of River Ghaggar in Panchkula commemorates the visit of Tenth Sikh Guru with his victorious Army on their return journey from Paunta Sahib to Anandpur Sahib. Pleased with the logistics services provided to Guru Gobind Singh and his army of men and horses during their stay here Guru Gobind Singh blessed Bhai Nadu Shah that the place would be known as Nada Sahib to honour him for the services rendered to the Guru and his men. The Tenth Guru also ordained that henceforth anyone who pays his obeisance here will have all his fulfilled. A beautiful Gurudwara has come up there with a prayer hall, a langar hall, a Jorha Ghar (for safe keeping of shoes while going to the Gurudwara), huge car parking, well equipped & comfortable rooms for the pilgrims and a market vending Sikh religion relics & souvenirs. The Gurudwara serves wholesome meals 24/7 to all pilgrims free of charge as per the norms of Sikhism. The Gurudwara runs a school for children and also a charitable dispensary. A visit to the Gurudwara Nada Sahib is a must for all Sikhs and other Believers to seek the blessings of the Tenth Master. Every Full Moon and also on Gurpurabs the Gurudwara is decorated with flowers and lights and special programs are held. Amrit Daan is given to all willing to strictly follow the Sikh tenets on Pooranmassi (Full Moon). May Guru Gobind Singh Ji shower his blessings on all mankind.

If you like untouched beauty, this is it! Tikkar Taal is the main attraction. Apart from beautiful boating, wIth kids or for the more adventurous ones, you could spend time on the little rope bridge activity. Have food at the lakeside cafe. Do have Maggi at the poor fellows stall outside the restaurant, while still staring into the lake. Do go to the Adventure Park. Again, more rope activities and climbing adventures on very simple, but challenging bar handles etc. Very elementary, but engaging. The mosquitoes though were a nuisance there. Then, do visit the little learning centre / musuem which is 6 kms from the Tikkar Taal. Its a real surprise how well maintained and attractively done the little fort and musuem is. Cheers to Haryana Tourism for a hidden gem, just 1 to 1.5 hr from Chandigarh. Our stay at Valley Heights and Spa was great too, even though it has no spa!

It is 45 minutes drive. you have to take ticket for zoo but sorry I forgot the amount of ticket the zoo is very attractive will impress both children and adults as well there are Tigers, elephants, hippos, monkeys, crocs and many more there are separate area for birds and reptiles as well there are so many birds I like the reptiles part the most the different types of snakes and comodo dragons are there and after that if you are interested to see lions than you have to pay extra for the lion safari in which the bus will take you to the separated isolated area where King Lions are free to roam that is great experience. When we were there two lions were fighting with each other

This place is conveniently placed on the highway and right next to the metro station. this mall has something for everyone - be it kids or adults. It has all the major brands outlets and some traditional wear outlets for that indie touch. it has a proper food court for eating and the pvr here is pretty good as well. outside within the premises it has small rides and toys hub for kids as well and the best part it that it has ample parking space too. If you are looking for all in one place around, this is it.

Every year from 1st Feb to 15th Feb , an international craft mela is organised by the Haryana government tourism department . It invites the national awardees of crafts from all over India and show their craft expertise on the stalls provided by the mela authority. As the name is Mela, but it has an international image and attracts too much. Varieties of craft material are on sale which are often not available sometimes. Rush is so much that you are shoulder to shoulder some times. A lot of dignitaries from all over India visit the place . All facilities of bank, post office and like facilities are there. Chaupal is a big attractions. Where renowned dances of India are performed for public as well as vips. In my life , I have visited 40-50 times , but always eager to see.
