We got to the waterfall scenic park early by tour bus arriving at 0930 there were no large queues at that time also it was Wednesday so quieter than a weekend. We parted from our tour guide and met up with him for the return trip. This allowed us to see what we wanted to see and at our pace. We got around no problem with the help of our chinese friend. There are buses to Grand Water Fall and the smaller falls. We choose to pay the 50 yuan for the escalator rather that use the stairs about £2.50 each way. Better than aching legs. An umbrella is a must as even in April it was very hot. Plenty of toilets and water stations. We all carry hand sanitisers. The scenic area are amazing plenty of traders selling tourist goods and a large variety of food. A good day out leaving a 1800 hours. 10 photos of 250 taken by me alone. First waterfall is the Grand Water fall Second a wider but smaller Waterfall.

It's a good park to visit in Gui yang city for a day trip. The park fee is about 1 USD per person, and you could spend the whole day there including hiking, visiting the zoo (at no charge), visit the historical cave, the lake and the temple. The view is very beautiful with lot of monkey surronded. I would say it's one of the best city park in China.

Much better experience than expected. The welcome process and entertainment is worth making this village a stop. Would be good to blend this village in with some other small normal villages in the area. Small entrance fee is with the rice wine welcome, entertainment and photo experience.

This was one of the most memorable places I’ve ever visited. Mostly because of the shape of the mount itself and a temple right on the summit of it. When you finally make it to the top, you’ll see the actual altitude, which is 2300 m above the sea level give or take. View from the observation deck was stunning, mountains slopes going down the gorge in between them. Vivid green colour is everywhere around you, there is only the skyline where you can see the end of this green blanket. You have two options to choose from: hiking up the mountain or take a cable car and around a hundred of stairs to get to the scenic spot. Price of the entrance including the cable car round trip: 260 rmb. It’s really convenient getting to the Fanjing mount from Tongren city by bus or from Jiangkou town, which is within 30 minutes by bus. I spent 4-5 hours over there including my way up, cable car, stairs, seeing around at the scenic spot, queueing down the mount and way back by a cable car. So if you’re going to hike, it will take considerably more time.

Don't miss this spectacular and impressive national geopark. A fairly easy walk, all boardwalk, some steps up and down. Take the lift 75m to starting point. We found that it is a little easier anti -clockwise (turn left when you get out of lift) as there are less steps going up. But if you have knee problems and prefer going up rather than down, turn right when you exit lift. The roar of the numerous waterfalls and view of the canyon from the bridges soothe the soul, calms the mind. We left fully recharged. A most memorable experience not to be missed if you are in Xingyi

The ancient town of Qingyan is located at GuiYang city from downtown to there about 45mins drive. The transportation is excellent because is all high way. The town is well organized by the staff when you enter to the town have to test your body temperature and show them your healthy code. It is safe for everyone. The town is clean and full of delicious food. The specialties are the pig feet and rice Tofu. The great wall is grand and a lot of fun.I will be back.

The nature and culture around Xijiang Thousand Miao Village is still undeniably stunning and memorable. As many other reviews mentioned, Chinese Han commercialization has set in and most of the shops / restaurants down at street level are run by outsiders. My suggestion is to avoid all of that, and stick to walking around the hills, the rice terraces nearby, and enjoy the scenery. What nature gifted this area, and what the Miao locals have created organically overtime, are very much alive and well. Worth a visit still.

Zhenyuan is a great place to visit if you want to get away from the big cities and relax. I really enjoyed my stay in Zhenyuan and was able to recharge and unwind during my stay.
