We drove by the Butterfly Grove and we were happy we stopped by to see the Monarchs. Docents very helpful and informative. Look forward to visiting again.

We have been going to the Melodrama for years and it just keeps getting better and better. The plays are great, yet we many time come out saying it was a great Melodrama but the vaudeville was better. The actors are very talented and work very hard.

We had a great experience with BJ's but apparently Tripadvisor only lets you post pics from a positive review. We had a great time here but I'm still trying to add the photos from another "not so great" review and can't do it. Nothing negative to say about BJ's, we had an awesome time on the beach with them.

Some people think that because Arroyo Grande is such a small town and that the venue is at a high school, it won't be much. The Clark Center is a state-of-the-art performance venue. Truly a hidden gem in our little town.
Ample parking, convenient location and great selection of performances are just some of the outstanding features. There are no bad seats. Acoustics are very good. Clean restrooms and plenty of space to mingle during intermission.
We are so lucky to have the an arts and entertainment venue in town as the next "big" venue is at Cal Poly. Yes, it still has a local flair and that's what makes it so special.

Love this place, the owner and his crew. Just the best place in the south county to find eclectic and heart-warming items for yourself and your family and friends. Knowledgable advice concerning the plants available and lots of decorative items to please us all.

As someone who lives right in the neighborhood, I can say that
I rarely go here even with visitors. Why? Well, unless you go right
up to the Cliff edge, there is really not much to see. This Park fails
on two main points... 1) there is no beach access & 2) the park has
really no trees & is not very park-like.
It is more of a road-side stop for those with young kids & want a
break from the road. The playground is adequate, but I would really
worry about those kids who wander away. There are numerous
poorly defined areas that are right next to shear cliffs!
There is a public restroom, but it is not well maintained, nor
too clean.
If you are looking for a beach pitstop, I would definitely pick
Avila Beach Park for this. While it is a few miles off the 101,
it is far nicer & far safer. There are also plenty of places to
grab a bite.
If you are looking for a park that does have limited access to the
water, then you want the next door Margo Dodd park. For far better
access, there is the nearby Pismo Beach or the quieter Palisades
Park.
Please be aware that the Cliffs in this area do tend to crumble
without warning & are hazardous. People also do get trapped
on the shore at high tide. Such events appear in the local news
from time to time....so use your common sense.

The pier was being rennovated while we were there, so that we were not able to walk on it.The pier juts out into the ocean and should be excellent to walk on when it reopens.I am sure it will be a good fishing pier,

Local organic, pesticide free produce and fruits, available three days a week.
Fun stop for tourists, especially if you are in a vacay rental with a kitchen.
Everything is fresh picked and delicious. In addition to produce, there's bread, flowers, honey, eggs, and depending on the day fish, chicken, beef, lamb and pork. And you can even grab dessert from a local baker.
Rutiz Farm is the place I visit before the local grocery stores. Can't recommend it enough.
