What can I say? After 11 years of visits, still my favorite place in the world to taste wine. The owner, Stefano, is passionate about the wines and about life, and incorporates both storytelling and philosophy into his tastings. If you are in Panzano, walk up the hill and visit him. You won't be disappointed!

We are a small company in the heart of Chianti Classico, family-run.We produce Chianti Classico and Riserva, Rosato, and IGT, extra virgin olive oil and a small line of totally natural and organic cosmetics, as the rest of our products. Is possible, only by reservation, to visit the winery and taste our wines accompanied by typical Tuscan products. this is NOT a RESTAURANT, our menu is limited to the use of local products. The management of any intolerances, allergies or food restrictions, can be facilitated by advance notice and in any case can not always be guaranteed.
This is our third year of wine tasting tours in the Chianti region and I can tell you that this is our best experience ever, Samuela was very careful in bio safety measures while explaining the domain history and while we were tasting her delightful wines and oil. If you want to visit a family domain with a personal treatment this is the place!

No photograph or article, however beautiful or well written, will ever be able to convey the full charm of this age-old village, with its vineyards, woods and olive groves. The best way to discover it is to follow the example of the ancient Romans and the thousands of pilgrims who have passed through it over the centuries, ascending from the Greve valley to the natural terrace of Lamole that overlooks the whole of the Chianti Classico zone. You can choose between two engaging tours that will introduce you to this stunning region. Share the history and explore the authentic winemaking vocation of Lamole di Lamole. Begin your tour in the historical vineyard, visit the winery, and finish at the Salotto di Lamole and our Bistrot for excellent food and wine samplings.

The statue in the middle of this picturesque square is of Giovanni di Verrazzano, the man who discovered New York harbor.
Very lovely square with an old church and lots of ceramic shops and one famous butcher sho that you have to go.

Visitors to this romantic estate have agreed the trip was well worth it: the family is warm and hospitable, the grounds are ruggedly romantic and the wines are impressive.
We arrived in Greve a day early for our booking and needed somewhere to stay for that night. Luckily for us the Verrazzano farmhouse had two rooms for our party of 4 and we signed in. Offered a wine tour up at the castle, we first spent an hour enjoying a bottle of wine and those amazing Italian snacks including salumi and cheese. The wine tour was very special as we followed our guide through the cellars, seeing prosciutto hams maturing, olive oil vats, ageing balsamic vinegar and impressive wine collections. This included the family's own private collection. A tutored tasting with more cheese and salami completed the tour. Our rooms in the farmhouse were excellent and the breakfast served in a small courtyard first class. Could not recommend this place highly enough. To put this in context I live in a small vineyard in the Hunter Valley, so know my wines and wine tours!

Enoteca Falorni is the largest enoteca in Tuscany featuring over 1,000 selected wines with more than 100 wines available for tasting, using the innovative enomatic(R) system. The Enoteca is located underground in the historical centre of Greve in Chianti on the site of the first large wine cellar founded by noble land owners of the area (considered the authentic fore bearers of the Chianti Classico consortium). The historical structure has ample spaces with arched brick ceilings, corridors and smaller rooms (originally used as grape storage areas) and tells the story of its long history as a wine cellar that for years represented the economic heart of Greve in Chianti, boasting a line of illustrious owners. Constructed in 1893 by Ernesto Leproni, the location was used as cellars by the Union of Chianti Classico producers in 1906 and subsequently purchased in 1913 by Count Emanuele Mirafiori d'Alba, until being sold to the Gancia di Canelli brothers in 1932. In the 1960's and 1970's the site belonged to the Italo-American dei Paterno family and was left in an abandoned state in 1975. In 1999 the premises were purchased by the Bencista Falorni family and were transformed into the present day Enoteca Falorni, with the aim to promote and give valour to Chianti Classico wines. Its elegance and the presence of more than 1,000 principally Tuscan wines with others from further Italian regions as well as sparkling wines, dessert wines, grappa and olive oil render the Enoteca Falorni an authentic "temple to wine".
We like this place as you can taste wines from different producers and also Extra Virgin Olive Oil with this great enomatic system they created.Absolutely great selection of wines.

We came here on a group wine tasting tour and this was our first stop. It was breathtaking pulling up and seeing the rolling hills of Tuscany on the most beautiful October day. We were greeted with the warmest welcome and were taken to the tasting room to try about 5 different wines. After that we were able to roam the grounds at our leisure and we had the most beautiful photos because of that. The wine was delicious and we bought some to take home to share with our family!
