Drive-through adventure zoo's road leads visitors through several different 'lands' featuring Sandhill Cranes, antelope, deer and a large buffalo herd. Most of the animals freely roam this corner of the county. All can be seen from visitors' cars, but Wolf Woods section requires a short walk. The interactive nature exhibits can be explored hile out of the car.
Nice park, clean and reasonably priced (I think two adults were about $7.50 each). We drove for over an hour and got out to see some of the bird areas and also the bears and wolves. It was a very good experience. Feeding the animals was not allowed.

Decided to be outside on a beautiful day and went to Soaring Wings. AWESOME place!!!The outside view is beautiful overlooking the valley. They not only make their own wine, but they do beers as well. The Blackbird is a dark rich beer that is FANTASTIC. The wines are also FANTASTIC. They have bread, cheese, and meats available to share with friends. Music on the weekends. This is a must visit kind of place.

We attended two ballgames in a weekend. The parking attendants were helpful and friendly. I nearly missed the "will call window" because it is a small shed. The park was nice, but we were surprised at the concession prices. Compared to other parks it seems pricey. Also, the Royals allow outside food and drink, so I was surprised the triple A venue does not.

In the days before kegs & bottles were available, the only way to get beer was to take a bucket to the local brewery, fill it up & lug it back home. We admire the work it took to get a beer. Our name pays homage to our beginnings the original Lucky BucketLucky Bucket is a distinctive new brewery that's as big on taste as it is in range. From exceptional renderings of classic styles to big barrel-aged ales, Lucky Bucket is quickly becoming known for real beers that just about any beer drinker can enjoy. We are open to the public for a relaxing environment and public tours of our brewery. For more information visit our Facebook page!We are also a distillery, check out Cut Spike Distillery!
Did the 2pm tour on Saturday and had a blast learning about their production and enjoying some tasty brews. About 25 people in the tour, most took advantage of a groupon I didn't know about since I'm from out of town. Funny employee did a great job of informing us on the process while keeping it light and humorous. Got a free pint with the tour and a taste of their vodka at the end. Bought a sixer when we left cause the quality is good and unique for me. Lots of space in the bar to play bags, board games, watch tv, etc. Hope to be back on another visit.

I have visited this shrine in the past and it's a wonderful place to visit. I had wanted to show some friends this shrine while driving through Nebraska only to find the main road to the shrine closed.

Established in 1917 by Father Edward J. Flanagan, Boys Town is a national organization saving children and healing families across America. The village was made famous by the 1938 award-winning movie "Boys Town," staring Spencer Tracy and Mickey Rooney. The Hall of History features Tracy's Academy Award and presents an exciting review of Boys Town's founding and impact on the lives of children. The Father Flanagan House Museum is the renovated home of Boys Town's founder and features a glimpse at early life at Boys Town. Other attractions on the 900-acre site include Father Flanagan's Tomb, Dowd Memorial Chapel, Chambers Chapel, Garden of the Bible, the "Two Brothers" statue and the Leon Myers Stamp Center that houses the "World's Largest Ball of Postage Stamps." Located inside the Visitors Center is the gift shop and Boys Town Café. The café is open M - F 6:45a - 9:45a and 11a - 1:15p.
A very interesting town! Well-manicured and the all f the buildings have a charming appeal to them. Loved the museum and the visitors' center gift shop clerk was a wealth of information! I also met the police chief while in town and he provided even more information about this great place! Thank you for the warm reception and I will be visiting again!

The Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum is a museum focusing on aircraft and nuclear missiles of the U. S. Air Force. The objective of the Museum is to preserve and display historic aircraft, missiles, and space vehicles and provide STEM education sessions to the young generation. The Museum is a $29.5 million, 300,000-square-foot (28,000 m2) building that features a glass atrium, two aircraft display hangars, a traveling exhibit area, a children's interactive gallery, a 200-seat theater, a museum store, an aircraft restoration gallery, and a snack bar. The glass atrium is constructed of 525 glass panels that encase a Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird. The Museum hosts regular travel exhibitions and several special events throughout the year. The Museum's Education Department is committed to fueling the curiosity of children across the Midwest and to educating them in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM). Regular STEM sessions, workshops and camp programs are available at the Museum.
This museum is well worth a visit. It was better than we expected. In addition to a top-notch B-17, there were a lot of unique and personally-interesting exhibits. Planes I've seen nowhere else included a huge B-36 and a tiny XF-85 fighter/escort designed to be released from a "parent" bomber (an unsuccessful experiment, ultimately).
As a kid, my dad saw a wing tank fall off of a jet fighter in Corpus Christi, TX. When I saw the F-84 Thunderjet at the museum, I realized for the first time that it must have been the fighter my dad had spoken of so many years ago. That was cool.
Our favorite part of the visit was a tour given by a volunteer who had piloted B-36s and B-52s. It's not every day, or every visit to a museum, that you get to hear first-hand stories that bring the planes to life. The way he remembered the men he had lost was very touching. I highly recommend taking the tour if you can.

My husband's office held a luncheon here. What a cool place. The campfire was awesome - it kept us toasty and toasted our s'mores. Lunch was served at exactly the minute we were told it would be. The apple doughnuts were yummy and the espresso warmed my belly. We had fun watching the punkin' chunkin' and walking around. There's so much to see and do. I wondered if we'd feel out of place since we were all adults. There was no reason to worry. Can't wait to bring my grandchildren.

We recently attended a 50th Anniversary Party held in one of the 6 bedroom, new, cabins. The cabin is beautiful & we would highly recommend it as a place to stay if you have a large group. Downside was that all 6 bedrooms had just 1 bed, so no way to bunk up several kids. Upside was that the living/dining room, kitchen, and balcony were perfect for the large group. The park itself is worth the trip & the daily entrance fee.

At first I thought the layout of this mall was odd, but when the rain started the way the mall was setup offered more protection than the regular outside mall. Tons of stores, great prices, and located right off the highway!
