If you LOVE kitty cats (or if you love someone who loves kitty cats!), then you will definitely want to make a stop at the Cat Shoppe in Green Hills. So much adorable cat stuff - for you, for your cat, for your cat-loving friend, or for your cat-loving friend's cat! Seriously, there's all kinds of cute things -- gift-type items as well as cat toys/food/supplies -- all in a fun shop in a great location in Green Hills (which, incidentally, is one of the nicest areas in town, especially for shopping!)! I look forward to my next visit to the Cat Shoppe!

Spending time at Ann Patchett's bookstore has been a dream of mine since I read "Bel Canto" years ago, and when I was in Nashville on February 16th, 2019, my dream came true. My sister and I had a delightful conversation with a sales associate with a lovely British accent who was so informative and helpful. The first thing he told us was that we had just missed the author as she had been in the store moments before! We had a fun hour browsing the store and picking out books to buy, plus the requisite Independent Bookstore t-shirt and a book bag with all of Ms. Patchett's books listed on it. Besides being a lovely bookstore, it was a very fun field trip for us!

Established in 1980, Carol Stein's Cumberland Gallery exhibits well-established and promising, emerging artists. Tennessee and the Southeast constitute the primary focus, but national-level artists are well represented in a variety of media including painting, works on paper, photography and sculpture.
