Exellent way of seeing the city! Manchester offers two free bus routes, one that covers the inner part of the city centre and one that covers the edge of the city centre. Both busses are ideal for both sightseeing and transportation and problably the best advice I can pass on to other Manchester visitors.

The Black pudding company is a must to go to the black pudding is gorgeous and the ladies on there are lovely, it was great to be able to take some back to put in the freezer, set out very well as you come out of the shopping centre into the market, it is a total must visit sell great food pies, cakes, meat, fish, hot food, etc, you'll be spoilt for choice! We will definitely be going again when in Bury need a few days around there to take it all in and to get around, especially if mobility is poor, everything is all linked together which is fantastic highly recommend here! There is never a dull day at MediaCityUK. Atmosphere is central to the MediaCityUK ethos and with a host of cultural and sporting attractions, cinemas, world class events, shopping, an abundance of bars and restaurants and a diversity of people living and working here - atmosphere is certainly something that is never lacking. Haigh Woodland Park is the jewel in Wigan's crown of green spaces - and it's transforming into a one-of-a-kind attraction for families across the north west. Wigan Council and Inspiring healthy lifestyles are spending millions of pounds making this the most beautiful and activity-packed park in the region.
We went to Haigh Hall today and we were surprised how much has been done to make this a great day for the family, there's loads for children to do, our Granddaughter really enjoyed the adventure golf with Grandad and there's a few places to eat or if you want to take your own picnic there's plenty of room to do that, Haigh Hall also has plenty of areas to walk, there's the walled garden and lots more, we will certainly go again and the parking isn't too expensive at £3 for the day, Do go and give it a try it's a Great Day out

We had a tour of the stadium but the highlight was the friendliness of staff. Ian, Hassan, Matt and the tour guide Cameron Cameron was very experienced, friendly and answered all my son's questions My 9 year old loved the tour and as a Man City fan, this day will be a highlight for a long time. Thank you so much Man City staff for making my son's day.

My son and I have visited regularly for a few years now and love our days out there. It started when he was younger just watching the planes, having a run around and playing in the playground. He has caught the plane spotting bug and we visited today with his new video camera and tripod to film some of his favourite aircraft. Pouring with rain but we hunkered under our brolly and made the best of it! I thankfully had the foresight to book a technical tour of Concorde which was fantastic and kept us dry for 90 minutes - which felt like 10! We love the cafe too though my son refuses to go in as it keeps him away from the planes so we got sandwiches to take out. Staff always friendly.
