The Boundary Museum Society was established in 1958, and incorporated in 1980. From its inception until 2009, the Boundary Museum Society operated out of the downtown core of Grand Forks, BC. In 2009, the Boundary Museum moved into the former Fructova School, now called the Fructova Heritage Site. The Fructova Heritage Site was built by the Christian Communities of Universal Brotherhood (CCUB) Doukhobors in 1929 as a facility to teach English and academics to the Doukhobor children of the Boundary area. The school was in use until the late 1940's. The Boundary Museum currently features five larger exhibits - the Doukhobors, a schoolroom, local wildlife & environment, historic store in addition to several smaller exhibits on First Peoples, China town in Grand Forks, forestry, sports, and music. Exhibits change from time to time. You will also see a Doukhobor bread oven and perhaps be able to participate in bread making or other activities in the summer months.

Welcome to the Grand Forks Visitor Centre - The Grand Forks Visitor Centre is operated as an integrated Visitor Service Department of Gallery 2 – the Grand Forks Art Gallery. Stop by for all your local information needs; whether you are looking for a place to eat, a place to stay, or the latest Arts and Culture offerings, we have you covered! Gallery 2 is Boundary Country’s Public Art Gallery. Featuring engaging contemporary art exhibitions, an artisanal gift shop, and a vibrant art rental program, the gallery provides visitor information and experiences to tourists and local alike.
This gallery always has thought-provoking and outstanding installations. There are four galleries to visit and Canadian and Indigenous artists are often showcased here. I always enjoy the atmosphere and the friendly staff. Plus, I can't help but check out the gift shop. There are beautiful collections of pottery and ceramics, jewelry and books, toys and ornaments. For residents, there is also an art rental program here that enables you to take home works by local artists for a very reasonable price.

My husband and I went with our 3 year old son and everyone really enjoyed looking around. My husband and son especially loved looking at the massive collection of chainsaws and saws going back to the beginning of when they were first invented! The host was so helpful answering questions and showing us everything. A nice collection of some antique tractors and cars as well. My 3 year loved the open wheel race car that he was allowed to it in and pretend to drive! Totally worth checking out!

Grand Forks drive in is open three nights a week and will be showing some of your favourite movies. Our grass venue and 40 foot movie screen will ensure you a great evening.
While some may be too young to remember the drive-ins of older days, Grand Forks has brought to back for a set price per vehicle. Perfect evening outing, inexpensive, fun and all you need is a car stereo and/or FM radio. Hope this will continue in our post COVID19 world. Our suggestion is trucks um take a position in the back so cars can see the movie! See you there, look for the black Mercedes Convertible with um me and my beautiful red head wife Wanda! #WAndre
