The greater Karoo in all its glory! Follow a path of numerous species of fragrant fynbos to a wondrous view of the Valley with its bute, jagged rock formations. Graaff Reinet lies in the near distance on the banks of the dry Sundays Riverbed. Spend some time here, it's different and rugged but absolutely pure!

We are very happy to have managed to visit The Reinet House, early in the morning, before our departure. It's a lovely Cape Dutch house with large, high ceiling rooms, filled with history. The house, which is now a museum, was built in the early '80's as a parsonage. Rev. Andre Murray, from Scotland, first lived in it and then, following his death, his son, Charles Murray. We found the museum very informative and definitely recommend a visit. Happy to see the vine Rev. Charles Murrary planted in 1870, still alive and green

Great looking church. Walking distance from most B&Bs. Very neat and in the centre of town. Worth visit.

Some interesting South African art work, mostly mid-century. Part of the art of the town and well worth a visit
